@My2001StratusRT Unfortunately you can't manually open or activate the active surfaces on the Aventador. All follows function according to Lamborghini. But wait, it will only be a matter of time before someone cracks it by hacking the system :)

so how do these flappy paddle gearboxes work, is there just an accelerator and brake pedal below and when youre clicking the paddle to change gear you simply come off the gas like you would with a manual clutch system? or can you change gears with the accelerator pedal down as well?

@XtcRaver420 nah... You want to head snapping feeling. This is super fast. Having been in the 458, it is fast smooth but I miss the head snapping of the gear shifts. I am happy Lambo did the ISR transmission instead. it truly is EPIC and certainly weighs less!

@visualfxpro nope.. the engine need more air to breathe. Remember this is 700 hp so you have to get the air in. Also, the intakes are used for cooling. Form does follow function in this ride!

@michaelreilly88 I drove the first car (white Aventador, see my channel when i started off in strada) for 2 minutes before i realized it, then switched to sport for 2 minutes then drove after that in corsa. Corsa is really when this car comes alive. Sport is pretty mean too. For "sleeper" mode when you don't want to wake the neighbors, strada might work :-)
