When you cast a spell does it always manifest in SOME way even if it appears to have failed?

I mean when you send energy out does it always manifest in some way and have some results even if it appears to not have worked?

Good question. When a spell is done correctly there will be a manifestation of some kind. It may or may not be what you anticipate or it may take longer. When doing a love spell for example, it may not have worked because either you or that person who would have been the one were not ready yet. My advise when a love spell fails is to wait a few months then try again. In the time between these spells continue to work on yourself in the mundane aspects to make yourself the perfect lover/partner.

You take the oil and hold it in your projective/dominant hand and focus your intent on the oil and say: "I bless this oil that it may serve my purposes. So mote it be!" You can also ask for the Lord and Lady to place a blessing on it. An example: "Lord and Lady, I ask that you bless this oil that it may serve my purposes in the magical workings of love." You can add more to the blessing to make quite clear what the purpose of the oil is.

Well, it could turn out great if you get lucky that person happened to be meant for you. You can be specific but you must be clear that it will only work if they are right for you and you have to believe and want that deep inside. It doesn't work right for most people because we humans are great at lying to ourselves.

Some Wiccans have TOO MANY rules, I consider myself a GREY Witch. I see nothing wrong with ANY spell as long as no harm results. I think it's OK if I cast a spell for someone to quite smoking or to fall in love with me AS LONG as no harm results.

A lot of Wiccans say that in loves spells you should not cast on a specific person but only cast that a GENERAL person comes toward you but isn't that manipulating someone somewhere? I mean I guess all spell work is manipulating the universe.

When I speak of love spells I put out rules because most people don't know how to control their minds and so many who come looking to do love spells are not practiced in spellcraft. They are focused on one specific person and consequences be damned. Even if means they destroy another persons life to feed their desires. I am what many would call grey as well and I believe that those who put clauses all through their spells because they are afraid of consequences shouldnt be practicing magic.

That is a grey area. If you are willing to accept any negative consequences that could result then you could cast a healing spell for that specific area of their life and see what happens.

It is very hard to tell. If you suspect that you have been you can do a spell and/or ritual to remove any spells that may e on you.

It is a caligraphy pen I bought at AC Moore. It comes with ink cartridges and is easier to use than the dipping kind which I have too. I use it to write lables on my herb jars and to write in my BOS. I have three different tip sizes.

Anointing oil is a personal thing. It can be just plain old oil that you blessed or and oil blend specific to your intent. As an example, I use a blend of olive oil with rose oil and hyacinth oil to anoint my alter candles. I chose that blend because the rose and hyacinth are sacred to my patrons. If you wanted to work a love spell using candle magic you can use plain oil or a blend, like rose oil and a base oil, to anoint the candle.

It will work at anytime, but the best would be on the waxing or full moon and on a Friday. Waxing because you wish to bring something to you and Friday because that day is associated with Aphrodite. Different people use different methods when working spells. It can be extremely complicated or very simple. Personally, I work with the 4 phases- waxing, full, waning and new or dark moon. During the waxing you do spellwork to bring things into your life, full is for any type of spellwork, waning is to remove things, people or obstacles in your life and new is when no spellwork is done. It is a time for reflection or working with the dark gods.

You can do it the way you are doing it if you have the time to plan it all out. The complicated way of doing it can be very effective. However, most times we dont have the time to wait until the proper day, moon phase or planetary alignment. In those cases I would suggest going with my method.

One month later and good news. I took the slightly more complicated approach but mostly your advice was used.

Interestingly enough I found most of the change that allowed the spell to work happened in me. I think the reflection on my wants and needs and being truthful to myself had an enormous impact on the outcome.

30 days later it all fell into place. Not only did it work but I feel as though I have grown through the process.

Question: What do I do with the charm now?

The candle is a tool used to focus your intent and energy. If it being brand new means something to you then use a brand new one. The size of the candle is not important other than the time it takes to burn. You can use a birthday cake candle if you wish.

There are several ways to cleanse it. The simple easy way is to put it in a dish with some salt and let it set overnight. I used a different spell for myself which is much more complicated and private. I wrote this one for those who were curious and less experienced.

I do the same method u do to anoint candles however you did the banishing anointing movements. The middle of a candle represents you so if you wish to bring something (love) to you, you anoint from bottom to middle, top to middle. This represents bring love towards you. To banish something or get rid of (unwanted love, ex boyfriend,etc) you anoint from middle to bottom and middle to top. This represents pushing something away from you.

There are many different ways to anoint your candles. I picked up that method a while back but dont remember where and I usually use anointing oil specific to the intent. Hey Neo, thats nice craftmenship on the candle holder. I like this video alot, thiers some really good stuff in here about making simple charms that are good for any spell. A lot of studying. :) Seriously, a spell will not put information into your head. What you need would be a spell to help you remember the information. Just get a white candle for candle magic. Scribe onto it the subject you are studying. Charge it with the intent to help you remember the information and burn it while you study.
