The main problem with this movie for me was that the stuff about Mr White and the other ringleaders of his organization felt like the real story and everything else was like an extended sub-plot. I would have been much more interested in seeing the former than the latter. Oh, and they killed Mathis. The bastards.

I think the biggest problem with this movie is that its not a movie that stands on its own. Its continues right after Casino Royale ends and continues its story without a real ending since its a trilogy. This movie is in the middle of the story so it feels like its...just there. After all 3 movies are out you gotta watch them all in one sitting cause its like a long 6 hours movie broken up into 3 parts

Man oh man. This really could have been so badass/a great theme. But in all honesty, did no one realize that Jack and Alicia were horribly off-key when they sing the chorus?! I mean, c'mon. That was my very first reaction to hearing this, was "Hey, this is pretty cool. Nicely done, I like wh-HOLY SHIT!!!! That's just AWFUL!!!"

I'm convinced that if someone else had done the vocals on this song, it would have been pretty sweet. As it is, it's one of the worst

Ok...so this wasn't a bad theme...but to be honest this one, along with Casino Royale's "you know my name" were both pretty weak compared to all the previous Bond theme tunes...maybe it's because modern music today is dead and plain shit. It needs revitalising big time... I mean look at the bond theme tunes of the 60's, 70's, 80's & 90's...why were those theme's all great ? Because that's when music was music and was alive pure and simple. Shame really.

When I first saw the movie, I found the singing kind of grating, but listening to it now it really is a great song.

You know what I hate? Stupid motherfuckers that say Quantum of Solace was shit. It wasn't as good as Casino Royale, obviously, but anyone who says the movie is garbage should probably be shot. At the very least, don't let them review movies. I mean, I can get along with people who say they weren't quite impressed with the film, but people who hop on the bandwagon of hate and ignorance just piss me off. Very competent film, can't wait for Daniel Craig's next performance.

Fuck the guy whoever said that. Do you people honestly want to go back to Sean Connery driving an invisible fucking car? And here you are calling the realism in QoS "silly?" FUCK that. As far as I'm concerned, Bond is perfect as the badass rogue MI6 agent he is and should be.

I had huge issues with QoS still, though. I love the rusty, rough, rookie Bond, but QoS had too much of a loose plot for me. Casino Royale worked well because it focused on developing the characters while focusing on a central plot line, whereas QoS tried to cram multiple loaded different plots into a single movie, and did less character development than it did "tying up loose ends".
