It happens something with Alex Karev. Sometimes you really hate him because he's a completely jerk but sometimes like this one, you wanna hug him. His eyes tell you a lot and they make you think that behind that rock there's a human being. I love the character and hate him at the same time. Besides, I'm talking about him like if he was real and he's not.

Justin Chambers is a great actor. I can't picture him in other way but Alex Karev and he's not like that. So, he's a great actor.

this might sound a little stupid but the greys cast are all great face/eye actors, if you think about it they all wear scrub masks a lot of the time yet we always see their emotions for example alex/cristina/bailey in this scene!

i love that for all her disdain of being 'touchy feely' with people, especially her patients, she does have their best interests at heart...and she 100% means it when she says that it's not silly to her at all and she'll get her through it, because for cristina, she has the most emotional reason for being a doctor in the first place and that's why every patient that comes to her is another check in the win column

I think this is an example of transference.

Christina had to give her pain to someone else so she could work.

I never realized how psycology classes would come in handy while watching this show. Justin's eyes sparkle from pain.
