You put the counterweight in the wrong direction dude !!! The dial got to point towards you !!! Otherwise, how do you set up the weight ????
Also, please put the pitch to 0 when you play your records. It's a 33 1/3 RPM. Not a 27 RPM record !
I own this and it's a pretty decent turntable. I just use it for listenning, and I love it. Simple to use. Although I wonder if the anti skate have any effect on the tonearm.
Im having an issue getting my computer to recocnize the turntable. Im running Vista 64bit, installed the cd rom that came with it but it seems to be an installation of "EZ Audio Creator" and not a "driver". I followed all the steps but even connected, the computer still say "device is NOT connected". Its real confusing.
why is there bad static coming from my computer speakers? I've cleaned my record recorded a 2 songs and they both are now on Itunes but you can hear the static. Could it be my counter balance? thanks
@DrHogfan I finally got rid of the humming and static noise by adjusting the GAIN knob and getting the switch in just the right place(both are underneath by the power & USB cords). I had some bumps in the road but managed to record 40 -50 song onto my new walkman mp3. I am impressed with the sound of these songs. No scratchy vinyl sound and most of these LP's are 30-40 yrs old.
it never was three hundred something dollars at all it came out in 2006 at $169 dollars now it's $99 dollars and you buy one use at guitar center for $ 87.99.
