Some ppl say bass wood is soft...Well if you drop a hammer on your guitar, regardless of the wood species, you're gonna leave a crack in the finish... Ppl usual label basswood as "cheap" wood...Dont they know that the prices of things are only dictated on how scarce of easy to come by they are... so sad...

The only problem I have with that is the fact the volume knob is way too close to the pickup. I hate that since I like to use my pinky to anchor on the body while I do solo's and riffs. Still an awsome guitar though. Just wished the ergonomics were a bit different.
