In my case the redstone torches underneath the dispenser just die out the moment I place them, so the wire doesn't flash. Anyone who knows what the problem could be?

@juanesbond put a block behind the place where you want to place the dispencer and right click it so it places the dispenser there, clicking to dispenser will let you go to the dispenser inventory
