I thought it was lovely, too, sweet and romantic; and great when the old fogies turned into children! I wonder why it wasn't a success?
Mind you, it wasn't quite as good as Pee-wee's Playhouse.

Sadly that second Pee-Wee movie was a flop in the box office. Hence a critic quote "Big Flop Pee-Wee." Well as much as it was a big flop, it did become a big sell on VHS, since Pee-Wee was the most popular thing for kids in the 80s.
