  • @NWRGeek. Usually the test should start at 11:54 a.m. and end at 12:30 p.m. but sometimes it will go until 5:00 p.m. Here in Canada the same signals can go up to 23 hours and 30 minutes.

  • Hahahaha! Notice how Canada anounces the warnings first in english, then in french.

Could it be they want all the english speaking folks to hear the warning and find cover first and then the Frenchies last? A little favoritism going on there? LOL Just kidding!

  • Did that display say 12 hours for the weekly test? in the US its usually like 15 minutes o..o

  • @atvrider7 15 min - 1 hour

  • @atvrider7 It said triggered at noon. This radio must not display the duration or end time. Just when it was activated.

  • @atvrider7 Yeah. Here in Massachusetts, like most NWS offices, it's 15 minutes. But I guess in Canada they might send it out for the maximum time, which I thought SAME only supported 6 hours...

  • why is it so far away from the camera >...<

  • Sure! I will try again!

  • Can you re-record that SAME burst without any other sounds in the background, next time your Weatheradio Canada station tests its SAME feature? I'd like to analyze it.

  • this is what you found it here in canada.
