Um.. there's nothing wrong with the stereotype of gays. Sure it doesn't represent everyone, but that's the point of a stereotype. And there is nothing negative about fem, camp men.

Fem, camp men are prevalent? The majority of gay men portrayed in media are non-stereotypical. I can name a dozen shows and popular movies that portray gay men as such. Maybe you need to watch more TV than just Glee. Try The Office, Happy Endings, Shameless, Revenge, Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey, 90210, True Blood, Torchwood, etc.

Also, there are three other gay boys and two lesbian girls on Glee that don't fit the stereotype.
