  • i want ur class 37 hehe

  • What Coaches would go with Class37 and what coaches would go with the smokey joe?

    P.S. and wagons!

  • @MrMicroSCT - neither are coach pullers really. Both are meant to pull freight. So if you really wanted them to pull coaches, absolutely any will do.

  • @MrMicroSCT What about wagons?

  • @MrMicroSCT for the class 37 try LMS in maroon livery, which usually go with the Duchess of Hamilton/Norfolk. And smokey joe go for the 4 wheel branch line coaches in green or you could re-paint them in black livery.

  • hello, could you tell me what type of dcc decoder you put in this loco, thanks.

  • @mongoosekid14 - this model takes 8-pin DCC chips. I had fitted it with the Hornby R8249 chip. The basic DCC chip from Hornby. It more than does the job.

  • I got this one an hour ago! Please can i ask does your make more noise when its going round corners? 'Cause mine sounds like its come off the track when it goes round a corner. just in case it helps you my corners are third radius.

  • @SuperJimjoe - mine doesn't make any noise when it goes round corners. Check all the wheels are on properly. IF they are and it's still making a noise it could be something else such as detail getting in the way of the wheels of bogies, or possibly even something to do with the motor or driving axels.

  • How much dose it cost

  • @Liverpoolfcfever - it's spelt 'does' and this one was £40

  • just got 37415 in EW&S its a really nice loco :)

  • @TheCatapultTV - it's a really nice loco indeed

  • I'm getting a Vitrains class 37/4. The only difference that I can see between the one you got and the one I'm getting is that it has slightly different ends. I can't wait and it was a bargain of the Hattons website. Great video by the way.

  • I have a choice between two trains that i should get could you help me out one is a class 37 and the other is a 47 both from vitrains so which one do you think i should get please relpy

  • @123garryharry - both are excellent - there really is no way to decide between one or the other lol

  • @InterCity82 this is going to be a tough one

  • Does anyone know if the fan spins ?

    Thanks

  • @StreetKing217 - it doesn't spin by default but it may be possible to make it spin

  • After seeing your brilliant videos I just had to go out and get one myself! Has to be my favorite loco! Excellent sales technique :)

  • @jrc321 - haha lol I'm sure you'll be very happy with it! :)

  • The lack of any decent tail lights could have an advantage, because when pulling freight it wouldn't look unprototypical with tail lights still on like on other models on the market.

  • @antsimkins - very valid point. Just a shame it won't look very good when running on its own.

  • i want to know if i should get a hornby class 153 or a hornby class 37 help repliy

  • @planes124 get a vitrains 37 or a 153, i got a 153 and there great!

  • help

  • hello i love trains and i need help if i should get a hornby class 153 or a hornby class37?

  • he;;p

  • What do you know - my favorite diesel loco :) Make sure your blue-tac is pressed down because those snow ploughs will tare it up - then the track - and then that lovely wooden floor! - WHAT A BEAST!

  • @2002And - lol, trust me the Blu-tack is quite safe :)

  • Could you take the Virgin Voyager out for a spin? thanks

  • @SuperJimjoe - there is a video of her at the end of her review - but a video of her just going for her spin is not far off being uploaded too now

  • have you added the detail kit thing on?

  • @infernodood3 - it's now fully detailed. I think it was fully detailed in this vid too. Or maybe partly.

  • Hi do you have the class 395?

  • @SuperJimjoe - No

  • can you show us the vigin hornby livery 125 train running because i might be getting one thnks if you could do tht it would be a pleasure.

  • @mongoosekid14 - videos of that running are on their way

  • @citylink12 - 'City Industrial', 'Midland Flyer' 'Eastern Valleys Express' and 'Goods Master' :)

  • Class 37 in my humble opinion is the KING of all engines as i grew up with these trains as a boy and used to sit in my local station for hours just to get a glimpse of this beuty......last time i saw one a few years ago it still sent a shiver down my spine.

  • @dilwich123 - lol, yeah. Where I am in Crewe you get to see loads still. The noise they make is totally unmistakable ;)

  • Gona have to get one of these =)

  • @ReyoNeutra - you will NOT be dissapointed

  • What have you put inside the wagons? It looks like glitter...

  • @IgotPMT - it's just model gravel or ballast (stones/chippings)

  • wow that loco is epic i wish i could afford to make my own layout :(

  • @class37trash - I'm sure you'll be able to afford one if you save for it. Locos like these are always coming out so they'll always be around for when you can get them

  • What I like about this one is how youre wooden floor makes the sounds of the locos much more amplefied bet its tempting just to leave it down there.

  • @mattbozi89 - haha, well it can make it a bit loud too, especially when there's 3x trains all running at once. So it'll be good to get a bit of piece and quiet from the proper layout :)

  • thanks, Im guessing this video was a result of me nagging you all the time. I have now got this train and its very smooth and powerful, its a shame about it being noisy and the back lights not easily viewable.

  • @thickasiron - true - the lights at the rear are useless! I think I may fit my own :)

  • Great loco!!! What make and catalouge number are the coal wagons?

  • @dan89876 - the ballast wagons that feature in this video are the Hornby Model Railways 2 axle MHA Coalfish open wagon in EWS livery - model code: R6216

  • This is good what do you think you will do on your board layout you will be making becuase it would be good if you are going to make so its country sideish or make it like the Settle & carlisle line would be nice

  • @Whizzer1 - the proper layout will have a valley, small town, village, countryside, river, coal mine, mountain and possibly even a sea front! :)

  • i have a hornby EWS class 37 number 34040 from a set and class 37s

  • @Eggysproductions11 - ace! I didn't even know Hornby made any

  • @InterCity82 my dad got me it as my christmas present and they don't seem to have any pictures of it i suppose the shop had it as a special edition and i was supposed to say that class 37s are powerfull !

  • looks great beutiful engine and quite to and a good hauler

  • @Henryfan3 - yup! Just perfect really

  • Comment removed

  • @olliemetro - oh nice! I bet she looks really good! It'd be great to see a video of it!
