There's no light to tell you whether or not the console is actually powered on. But wait! I opened one of these up and guess what? There's holes on the board for an LED to go in to, but there's no LED there! You also need to put in an additional SM resistor for it to complete the circuit

@anassgame as far as I know no not on the original hardware at least not without some alterations to the console as the carts are slightly different in size/shape, I know you could play the "mega drive" carts in a US Genesis but only if you remove the top part of the case.

Im on the hunt for several games but cant get them for a decent price where i live and their are some North american only releases i would like to check out. This system is brutal.

Great in a pinch, but the glitches and coin toss over a game loading, and if it does load, not freeze up is way too much of a headache.

Missing pixels? I think those are important.

Hopefully someone picks up where this left off and does it justice.

Better than nothing, but it feels absolutely rushed.

you should review the sega arcade motion. its a motion controlled (not really) sega genesis that loads games from sd cards and you can get them from your local walgreens (search "sega" online) for $20, very good. sounds off though but cheapest way to enjoy genesis library.

if u wanna make use of 32x get model 2, tho this works for just straight genesis and has 20 games in, and its nice and small as it shud be for sutch old 16-bit technology, its just an emulator...so be warned

I have it and use it to play Sandohar and Gale Racer flawlessly. It also works with the few Japanese games that need a RAM expander cart (but not the 2 or so games that use a ROM expander cart) and doubles as a memory card and cheat device.

I don't know. I have a version of this with 15-games-in-1 with no PAL-NSTC switch, and the only problem I have is that the games have slower sound and music, yet they still sound and play fine. I might have a better version, I am not sure. I do agree that the controllers included are quite rough on the hands with very thick buttons and an uncomfortable D-pad, but thankfully you can use any Sega Mega Drive controller.
