  • Flaps, dude. Got a checklist?

  • Can imagine the stink of burning rubber.

  • @JBTKiller3000 Angola = Russia? Seems legit

  • Good job I'm not relying on the Angola rescue services for my life! Looked like they either about to fight each other or they'd just come along to watch!!!

  • the guy are like HUH its normall

  • whoaaah, I'm afraid of heights

  • I'm the 532352 viewer

  • Tower-to-crew: We copy that abort and see you stopped in the kitty litter, sending out a tow truck and 40 guys with shovels.

Crew-to-Tower: copy that, please send out a clean pair of shorts for the pilot too !

  • Wow! that plane looks old!

  • why people can walk at runway?

  • @POR135 africa.

  • Well they definitely haven’t considered “VMBE” limits here. Common mistake. However the plane looks like ok to me.

  • поколение симпсонов и прочего дерьма!

    nokonehne cnmncohob n npo4ero AepbMa!

  • при чем тут водка и пилот????!

хватит тут всем пиздеть, что русские пьют. русские пьют не больше чем вы!!!

    поколение симпсонов и прочего дерьма!

  • parking brakes on :)

  • я твой дом труба шатал !!!!!!!!!!

  • Does anyone else like the professional pilots clothing, just a casual shirt from M&S. Fair play to him mind, everyone survived, despite the poor clothing!!

  • job centre tomorrow !!

  • and at 1:50, the flight crew calls for their brown pants.

  • It seams the brakes where active during the take off. this can happen after lenghty taxy or brakeing sessions before departure. The heated brake pads extend and block the discs even they are released. But nobody knows exactly..

  • @deathpyre Flag on the side of the plane has nothing to do with Soviet Union or Modern Russia.

  • I've even heard that in Russian "vodka" means water. That's how addicted to it they are!

  • полный бред!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! VODKA - ВОДКА, WATER - ВОДА

  • @EgorStoskov What? I don't speak Russian, sorry...

  • Stupid shit, this is africa

  • this is not russia

  • Looks like a brake fire. My guess is that the park brake was left on, or was partially engaged. I think that it might be the latter as the starboard main wheels caught 1st.

As this occurred well before V1, I think that the pilot was correct to abort.

  • Il-18 great aircraft. One of the safest airplanes the world has ever seen. This just goes to prove it.

Not so good is the emergency service. walking and taking pictures is not going to evacuate an aircraft. Looks like it was a cargo flight anyway.

  • this is featured in a new movie called parking like a badass

  • And all because the pilot left his vodka back at the terminal.

  • Why abort TA? Cause the passing birds?

  • why didnt they turn off the propellers way before then?

  • very different

  • peolpe have you heard of V2 retards

  • @JBTKiller3000 that was actually pretty decent though...you have to admit XD

  • Ladies and gentleman, welcome in the mud. Please remain seated until the aircraft has come to a complete stop, there is a possibility that some of our tires will explode. We hope you've had a pleasant flight and hope we can welcome you once again on one of our flights.

  • No extended flaps for takeoff? Not reversing the props for reverse thrust on rejected takeoff? I'm not a pilot but even I know better.

  • What is it when a pilot forgets to rotate? What does that do?

  • "Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for flying with us today, we hope you enjoyed your flight".

  • Is the aircraft still there?

  • are they all brothers?????

  • forgot to rotate!

  • bab plane fail 1:32

  • Que burrada do piloto, tinha que ser na Africa, pela bandeira,é em ANGOLA.

  • Tout neg c'est sum!

  • We landed OK but guess what...The runway not long enough to take off on.

  • First class pilot ++++++++++

  • Now I'm gna think about going on "Nigger International"

  • i cant believe i watched the whole video, no tits.

    none.

  • Amazing video capture... Did the videographer know what was going to happen?

  • Affraiding...

  • probably the pilots say : Cjort, mudak, kk der'mo eto, chto ?!

  • @JBTKiller3000 runway = shit

  • junk

  • He didnt have his flaps down. Im guessing he realized that and realized it was too late so he hit the brakes.

  • He was lucky there was sand at the end of the runway. That helped to slow the plane and extinguish the fires which proberly saved the a/c

  • EXELLENT JOB By the Pilot! Really fantastic control; It could finish ugly and dirty if he took off or has breaked with delay or hesitate.

Absloutly stunning driving from the Pilot!

Thanks for your video. I really enjoyed...

  • The Germany problem is misunderstood around the world. The reason for German atrocities and agressiveness is a result of greed and idleness.Racism and the idea of world domination are only an ideological cover for this greed and idleness. This makes it very difficult to deal with the question of Germany, as the German state will always assemble a large part of the Germans with the aim"to make money"using immoral means. My brother had been tortured 5.5 years and was murdered because of our homepage

  • @wwwtotalitaerde this is a video of a plane taking off, give it a rest you whinging fucknut.

  • good place good time

  • What was the reason for the aborted takeoff?

  • russian planes dont have thrust reverse ? only wheel brakes ? or do the pilot have to throw out an boat anchor out the cockpit window that he forgot to tie the rope on ?

  • russian planes dont have thrust reverse ? only wheel brakes ? or do the pilot have to throw out an boat anchor out the cockpit window that he forgot to tie the rope on ?

  • Does this aircraft not have beta range (prop reverse)? That and he seemed to have trouble lining up....plus he didn't seem to be too serious about speed on his takeoff run. Pilot intoxicated?

  • Anyone know how to translate V1 into Portuguese?

  • African Aviation at it's finest

  • I was on that flight

  • In Soviet Russia, takeoff rejects YOU!!!

  • @chazflyz ha ha ha .

    paz.

  • @chazflyz

Description says that it is taking place in Angola, not Russia. Angola is Africa! Learn Geography!

  • @MrBopre actually he was referring to the pilots really, if you note the flag on the door is one of soviet russia. and in all likelyness he was probably just making a popular joke.. its ok man

  • @MrBopre Apparently, you are not aware of the "In Soviet Russia" joke. And yes I know my geography. Have a nice day.

  • @chazflyz hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahaha

  • @chazflyz Too bad this wasn't in Russia.

  • fuck you

  • I forgot is the other way downwind...

  • Poster child for communism right there.

  • @handiest1 Russian aircraft are as 'good' as any other aircraft in the world...We may never know why this particular pilot called off his take-off. At least the aircraft didn't break-up nor did the front gear collapse when he ran long off the runway. Any rejected take-off you can walk away from can be called a success. Kudos to the pilot.

  • @RichardEllisxyz "Russian aircraft are as 'good' as any other aircraft in the world." bwaahhhaaa!!!

  • i waslike. i dont see any crane, so how they gonna get it out

  • @nolifemerc Using the best way: to jump.

    peace.

  • At least the dirt put the fire out!

  • guess he got best blow job ever!!!

  • CJ!! Quit parking your plane on the beach!!

  • Everything about russian aeronautics scares me!

  • @handiest1 me too but an225 fascinates me...

  • @rebelyellcrew im watchin it in 240p and its a nice quality

  • Overloaded it! he should have been up half way down the strip , then when they hit the dirt it just sank. im surprise they didnt rip there landing gear off. They have about 300 paying passengers in the sitting, standing, crawled in cargo bay. They got there license to fly in Florida , few weeks and here it is.

  • They couldnt get the airspeed up and running out run way, overloaded it with herione . I saw all those birds flying in front maybe they didnt want smash the windshied. The pilot forgot his bottle of Russian Vodka . he was half way down the strip and probably over loaded with AK74's,SAM -7 , RPG 35, syrian GAs

  • 2:45 lol!! the pilot is happy :P!

  • did you record this with your toothbrush?

  • @rebelyellcrew probably your display is just a potato...

  • @ZOCKER1001 macbrook pro 17in screen? nahhh man

  • loving all the comments where people are thinking they know how to pilot a plane and are giving all there advice of how it should be done haaaa

  • Next time try some brakes before running of that runway and use some flaps when you want to get into the air.

  • Made in the USA

  • @TheLamaguy89 LOL!!!!!!

  • It's not called a rejected take-off. The expression is "Aborted take-off".

  • How do people always managed to catch these things on film?

  • i would be running

  • @14madcar: OKAY!!!

  • Surprised to see a fire engine in this airfield...

  • Why do all Russian pilots look like alcoholics? I guess you have to be if you have to fly soviet era airplanes with terrible pay and maintenance programs.

  • Good to see some London rioters there at the airport.

  • oh mein gott!!!

  • this is what you get with chineese tires

  • Stay where You are!!!u have unexploded ordinances around the aircraft...after tht superb abort, lol

  • Great video, thats one in a million for sure.....unless youre in that part of the world where it happens every week probably... haha

And nice brakes there, the Russians apparently didnt care about ensuring the brakes and wheels dont catch fire during a hard stop.

  • @boundaryzero Who told you that??I am angolan, and i did travel with local companies nearly 5 day's a week for about 10 years, believe me ,i am still alive...don't believe in all the rubbish you ear about Africa, same of them if not mos of them, are completely false and useless.

  • Schatz, ich bin zu Hause!

  • The BEST !!!

    Il 18 ♥

  • lieber filmen anstatt zu helfen : )

  • the guy crashes/runs out of runway and even after that it takes him over ten seconds to throttle down/shut down the engines.

  • that airplane is not cleaned and mantenced right.

  • hes lucky for all that dirt being there

  • lol what dicks in the control tower its like oh hes at full speed tell him he cant take off

  • Maybe , the Angolan Aviation Authority should consider replacing their entire fleet of this IL-18 and replace them with French-built ATR-72 or Dutch-built Fokker-50 .

  • @MrHelmyabdullah

FRENCH? well, good luck with that!

  • @lspuris At least ATR72 has shown it's reliability, not like this old (50 years?) plane...

  • I believe this was a certification test, testing mainly braking performance. The tires smoked at precisely the same moment, during applied hard braking at high runway speed.

  • wtf, all those birds flying around during the video? I wouldn't want to sit in a plane, taking off or landing on this airport... bird strikes can have serious consequences as we saw at the Hudson incident. you cannot always be that lucky to have a chesley b. sullenberger as your pilot.

  • @vsbfbmusic well this guy has props so not as bad as a jet chicken ingestion i guess.

  • Pilots wanted to do a bit of muddin'. Get 'er done! :-)

  • unga unga me monkey make plane fly.....

  • @WHYNOTMEB4U JAJAJAJAJA, you're the reencarnation of monkey donkey, making plane fly!!

  • vigi86: thanks for making that observation.

  • I saw this video just today at an Italian TV News programme, and it's clear that they've stolen it and passed it as fresh news. shame on them!

    However,good video.

  • that pilot is so smart. cuz he went to the dirt so the tires dont get on more fire

  • @teslation He did that in order for the tires to dig in the dirt and stop faster.

  • @teslation the pilot cannnot be too smart. He tried to take-off while the parking brake was set causing the tires to over-heat and to catch fire.

  • some rap pilot..singing his new single forgot to push the throttle....! i could still see him in the cockpit saying yo man yo.... hey MF..!

  • Is it just me? I thought on the IL-18 the pitch was adjustable to create forward airflow. Pitch the props all the way forward and throttle those girls up!

  • at least it hit dirt not a fence or another aircraft or a building

  • This looks like a scene from the movie "Air America."

  • wow and wow.. well that plane's going to be out of service for a while.

  • bring out the brush truck

  • Thank god the dirt was there instead of more concrete runway. otherwise, the plane would have lost the landing gears completely and the blades would snap off and fly into the plane killing some peeps or the cockpit would get smashed in if it hit a wall. Lazy engineers and runway builders saved the plane

  • I think the birds caused this!

  • it would not have just been easier to just take off and go around? Easier of the equipment and the passengers?

  • So wtf all those people doing?

  • @betenivanua nothing.. just watching lol

  • ilushin and tupolev = industrial espionaje from the cold war

  • epic fail

  • The tire of the plane had a hard break so the tire is full of heat that's why it explode

  • What happens to the plane?

  • lucky camera man

  • FAKE

  • @f123raptor How is it fake? Instead of being stupid on a comment on a real event, get some research. Seriously.

  • @AirCanada04 what would cause him to pass the line of abortment and keep going like that? my own idea was thorttle stuck and spooling and a heavy weight or a problem close to take off Hard to say when your not in the cockpit but seems the engines took along time to whined down

  • @freakyflow It a propeller plane, not as much responsiveness as a jet engine. This plane had no speed - brake, it had thrust reversers, but were not used, the brakes were on as you can see were on fire due to its intense pressure. In a plane like that, it is better to overrun an airfield, than to take off, and have to crash. And also the line of abortment (V1) is different between aircraft, and especially different on a propeller plane.

  • Comment removed

  • @AirCanada04 Yeah, I was a joking, but thanks for that totally awesome advice... You're totally super awesome...

  • Would you not run over and help in any way instead of filming?

  • @ULTIMATEGUITARIST3 help with what? Jump in to the propeller to slow it down? Toss alot of sand onto the breakes to make the fire go out? I think the best help you can do there is to stay out of the way and let the airport crew handle it

  • obama was on this plane.

  • oops, I dont think those breaks will ever work again...

  • why didnt the pilot have the air brakes on? it doesnt look like a test

  • The pilot was like shit forgot my phone!

  • @dcool96 hahahaha

  • I wonder how many Aircrafts Undercarriage would have withstood this abuse, no sign of collapse, that is strong.

  • v1....v2..... omg stop this shit aghhhhhhhh

  • Did the airbags go off?

  • 2:56 There are more cameramen than rescue team workers!

  • Why was the takeoff rejected?

  • something gives me the idea...he didnt take off... uuuuuuuuuuuuuh a rejected takeoff in a plane that has since been replaced by nuckear missiles and chinooks.

  • Oh bugger!

  • In Soviet Russia.....

  • Someone needs to hook a jet to a propeller, o yea, they did. Turboprop, I think this is one to.

  • *Pilot looks out widnow*

"Did i park between the lines!?"

  • fuck nigga

  • Prop planes can pitch their propellers to generate big time reverse thrust. I wonder what happened? Also, the brakes suck -- they catch fire sometimes but only after the plane comes to a stop!

  • @mpaszti Not all prop planes have reverse thrust.

  • no flaps , no movement in the rear elevator, lucky the brakes did it, hydrolic failure i think.
