If I ever ran into you on the street, Id kick your fucking dick in........do the world a favor and jump off the nearest bridge while fucking your mother.
Good for you. But don't worry about what Catholics are doing, worry about what makes you right with Christ. Btw. you use the bible as a sacramental. The way you bring people to Christ through different scripture or format of asking them to repent etc, is a form of a sacrament. You just don't understand the word sacrament. It is sacramental to follow separate scriptures edicts to discover justification and turn from sin, and turn ones life totally to Christ.
When you can prove that any person can pick up a bible, without one person explaining a thing or reading anything else and can turn fully to Christ and be saved by that alone, then maybe you have a point. But until then, or you have to find several scripture passages to convince people or to claim grace, saving from Christ? Then that is a form of a sacramental format that has to be parlayed and acted, said and brought into ones heart to be saved by Christ.
Why do you think you are repeating youself? Ever think about that? Catholics do the same with you if you don't come up with more material.
"Most of us Catholics", are you going to go through 1 billion of us? You will be doing a lot of and talking and hence blocking. How about building your ministry on your own belief in Christ and those merits instead of tearing down other Christians. Maybe people would not argue with you or *waste* your time. Jesus time is never wasted - it is endless.
Why don't you go to the Vatican website with the real CCC online and with scriptural edicts attached? Instead of jack chick tracts or extremely biased presentations with half quotes from the CCC?
You are playing God and also not playing by fair rules of: - debate - freedom of speech - freedom of expression of religion - Or even Jesus rules that ALL can hear the word of God. - you also block continually when people do share enough information that gets you worried that they do know Christ. What would worry you to understand that Catholics know Christ? Is that from - pride? - anger at not winning the argument? - false accusations that you cannot defend?
Seekerofrealms3 answered wisely and accurately and with scripture. You did not validate or respond to the scripture that you say you honour. This is in the bible ans is the word of God, so you decide to reject parts of the word of God?
John 1: 1-18. Jesus is the word, but also is God and the Holy Spirit. Jesus presence is throughout earth and in heaven, and does not just live in the bible. So I would start validating the scriptures as presented if you do say you believe in the bible.
Also, now that you fully admit that all you do is incessantly hammer your beliefs with your mental ears shut, I'm here to inform you that you are in direct violation of the following verses:
And what makes you think that the supposed 'word' in that verse is this compilation of books and letters (all that were selected from a mountain of others) and is thus Jesus?
The Bible has had a long history of biased mistranslations, fallible interpretations, and has been proven to have a fair share of holes in terms of scientific and historical accuracy. To say a book like that is the final authority is like me vesting the presidency to an inanimate object. XD
Again you make many false assumptions. That's bearing false witness (or at least bordering on it). I just simply believe that other ancient religions (and civilizations) have made their own contributions to our world today just as much as Christianity. Take Buddhism for example. Its teachings have many applications in martial arts (kung fu particularly if I'm correct).
Besides, how can you defeat your opponent if you don't know him/her? The same applies to religions. ;)
Oh dear, it seems you have just commited the grave sin of bearing false witness against me. I have never claimed anywhere that you were either going to hell or heaven. So thus, I'm not judging you. :p
I am simply pointing out that you are nothing but a fundamentalist buffoon who claims to judge by the word of God when clearly it's not the word of God but only your own interpretation. Now is that so hard for your feeble mind to digest? XD
Read those words of seekersofrealms and others like myself and learn well in University. Expand your horizons a bit more, but still hold fast to Jesus. We are not denying Jesus at all, but we place it all in perspective of actual facts of history and peoples and what exists today.
That way we can find the Power of the Holy Spirit that is revealed in scriptures that makes sense in a world full of knowledge and modern advancements.
We cannot learn *everything* from the bible. Although it is a wonderful counsel - even for aetheists. You will go farther with your preaching when you realize these students or professors or people you preach to may believe in the words of the bible, (some may not), but they put it in context of what they deal with and must learn to manage today.
Electricians, builders, lawyers, professinals, geologists, urban planners, accountants, plumbers and more, can't find their info in the bible. Nor can you if you have to fix your (insert make of vehicle) car.
We use bible as *source* to learn about faith, hope and love and Jesus and all flows from there in our real lives. Jesus does not live in the bible in the end, but throughout the heavens and earth, we use scripture to tap into that power of Jesus!
You are on the right track of gaining knowledge, but I suggest there is a better way to study religion. It should never be done in isolation from history of peoples.
Religions of those peoples then becomes evident how they developed according to their own customs, concepts and environment.
That way a person becomes knowledgable and credible how to express why Jesus way is the true way.
They gain a better grasp about Jesus as the loving moral way, and don't worry as much about OT.
But it is a *Jewish* peoples history from darkness into light. Jewish only, the Israelite tribes that were split into 12. 12 apostles, 12 horoscope signs. Eventually 12 months of the year.
12 is a symbolic number in nature, because nature reflects 12 in the zodiac or astrological signs. But 10 also became a constant number - decalogue (10 commandments). 10 months in the gregorian calendar, etc. Why 10 (metric) or 12 (standard) for world standards of measurements?
Water, fire, earth, wind. The Solar system, the moons cycles?
People have been trying to figure out the meaning of creation of the earth, undestanding our relationship to the earth, and how God works since beginning of time.

The only Scripture that Christ referred to was the Scripture of the Jews at his time. The Bible is not a history book, it's a book about good absolute morals and faith. We can never verify if the words you read in your KJV were indeed the exact words of Jesus. (For one, Jesus didn't speak English XD)
There are some correlations to history in the bible, but you are correct, morals, faith a peoples who came from ancient ideals to make sense of the world, nature, power of the unseen is what happened with the OT.

The bible is a moral and power development of the Jewish/Israelite tribes people and their exposure to other cultures and Gods of other peoples in the end.
Anyone following the OT as a fundamental way of life today? - no different than following those radical muslims that follow interesting enough the OT as well!

Scriptures are read in Church every single day and the New Testament and much of the Old is covered entirely in 3 year cycles, as well as reading daily, bible study and bibles read at home. The mass is based on Scripture and Christ centred.

But who is the fool here? I could be very well be saying you are the fool professing to be the 'wise' Christian amongst those who just wish to pursue their studies (or enjoy their campus life). So far here in YouTube you have not offered one single hint of proper and logical argumentation. Wouldn't that mean your the stupid one a.k.a a fool? :)
Quoting ambiguous verses will neither answer mine or Miss May's questions/arguments. ;)
How do you see through the digital airwaves and know the type of Catholic I am? Although I do not attend daily mass, I taught Catechism for over a decade, and am in several ministries.
If your grandparents are devout Catholics, I suggest you talk to them.
Our mass (that is full of scripture, based on scripture) and Christ centred.
You still cann't declare people to hell, only Jesus judges peoples inner souls.
Unfortunately he seems incapable of understanding any statement that goes beyond his vocabulary of hellfire, hillbilly, redneck-borderline fundamentalism. That's just how he is. Don't worry, I'll try to be here to translate to him for you. I'm not Larry the Cable Guy but I've grasped a good deal of how the Men of the Bible Belt speak. XD
I am glad you know the Bible Belt Speak. I was never exposed to this growing up or even until entering the youtube forum fray. Wow, what an eye opener. I pray these SP's stay far away from Canada!
Ah, one of those who takes on the role of Jesus. I guess you see into peoples souls now? Catholics know scripture better than many, there whole mass, days, year revolves around scripture and Jesus. But I guess you would not know because you do not go to a Catholic church, school or read the NAB bible.
Do you know that you cannot condemn me like that? Taking on the mantle and mandate of Jesus against a Christian. Tsk, tsk. Read your bible carefully 1 John 4.
Young man, you are NOW dealing with educated, intelligent people, they know about many religions and a depth of history of bible or the power of the Universe. Are you attending this University for honourable reasons to espouse SP idealology?
Professors will start judging your capacity for intelligence. Sin level attacks on character of people vs. bringing a more spiritual depth to what these students understand is what you will be judged on.

1. Yes, I know he (and others like him always avoid the direct questions or glaring comments.
2. Yes, that is exactly what I was relaying to this young man. ;)

Thanks for translating.
Blessings to you.
