  • Sick man you rule me i have a hummer h2 and i do 360s!

  • did you trim the tire foam inserts?

  • @leakyvalve sissors. i just took mine out

  • new to the hobby what crawler should i get for cheap and where do i get it

  • Nice crawler! What setup are you using? Like the chassis and links?

  • Is rc adventure all in Calgary

  • That's one sweet ass R/C crawler.

  • I wish my LHS didnt close down... now i have to drive 2 hours to the nearest one.

  • love this video. . . what kind of shocks are those and are they droop setup or no

  • Nice truck, but let me hit you with this one. How do you feel about rock drag racing that seems to be the new shit on the block and since I drag race for a living I was wondering how do you feel about a scaled modei drag rock crawler I mean it can be done right?

  • @civicmaneg6

I thought rock crawling is a drag race. Well somewhat. Who ever gets through all the markers the quickest with the least amount of mistakes. But then again a rock crawling drag race would be more like who can get from starting line to the finish first and who cares about mistakes? Or two or more trucks starts at the same time and who ever gets through the finish gate first wins?

  • @crazy7997 Rock crawling is done slow and you get penalties for backing up or knocking down flags, but I saw rock crawling drag racing on t.v. one day and it was great, but you have to see going up a rock faced mountain at 40-50mph is fast for them. It's a great sport, but a lot of people are still stuck on slow crawling, but to each his own.

  • thats exactly wut ihave and its a great starter and i dont know muck cuse im 13 and i love your vid and my crawler is great and check out my next crawler / i dont have it yet butt its called a gmadestealth it looks sweet

  • I think my losi mrc could do that indoor track

  • hey whats better. the venom creeper or the axial ax10?

    whats better at rock crawling,

    whats more reliable, '

and whats better in the mud?

plz get bck to me asap.'

    thanks.

  • thats one cool axial. nice vid nice truck and nice driving-i see your cg is high.....is it for this kind of terrein like in the video?

man i see that in the rear you have shocks insted of upper links-can you tell how it acts and tell us what are the ups and downs of this kind of setup?

  • rumerboys hello!

i have a losi comp crawler and its a very good truck that has much beter performance then an axial scorpion. there are no problems with this rig it just needs another kind of gear-brushlrss motor and lipo batterys-i use novak 3s goat esc with the novak ballistic 21.5t brushless motor-12t pinion gear and a 7.4v lipo......well ill go in the future with 11.1v lipo for more wheel speed but hey this losi is a monster. get the losi and you can comp with it right from the box.

  • Nice video man! New to the hobby, whats a good rock crawler to spend my money on?

  • @rumerboyz well things are changing so rapidly in the market right now. Axial has just released the new XR-10. I havent heard anything bad.. but they are brannnd new.. and look fantastic. But.. you may want to check out the Axial AX10. Thats what most folks seem to start on.. that is the one above - yet the one above is upgraded considerably. Thats your bet bet ;) Stay away from the losi crawler - they seem to be problematic so far. Good luck!

  • @djmedic2008 Thanks for your help!

  • @djmedic2008 i have just bought the new losi micro crawler for my first crawler, and i havent heard anything bad about it, and i love the little thing. there isnt much upgrades for it, but they are comming out with new ones. Thats the one i would suggest is the micro crawler, but im new to it, so i dont know alot about it.

  • what shocks r those?

  • Very nice Scorpion and video man! Cleaver way to set up your tires btw.. Im in the market for a Axial Scorpion.. Just undecided on what motors on wanna i want to set up..

  • Hi there, just noticing your tires are mounted in the seemingly backwards to the norm, any traction benefits?

  • @klampykixx Lol... man, i must have answered this question a bazzilion times... haha .. I have even dedicated complete videos to it.. Please check my channel for all your RC questions about rock crawling.... but to answer your question.... ABSOLUTELY .... they act as a scoop, and offer more hook up. For mud, the other way is correct, but for Clawing action... reverse is correct

  • @djmedic2008 ha ha, yea i realised after i posted lol. thanks for that. im in the process of turning a touring car chassis into a crawler. its kinda working, iv got decent flex out of it so far with huge tires on. would u recommend a worm drive motor??

  • u work for eastridehobbies?

  • @jacobtraxxasman I do not work for Eastridge Hobbies. They are a local store in my city

  • i think your tundra could do this

  • @PATURMANPLUNGER lol.. thanks for the vote of confidence.. but no way.. lol.. too top heavy!

  • I notice the tires are set up backwads? does that help any? I assume those r the hpi rock grabbers? I have the same ones if they are but run mine the opposite way. wondering if that helps you any? I dont really have a rock crawling place to test it well around my house.

  • Looks like those are the same integy shocks i just bought, havent had a chance to try em yet everyone tells me im dumb for buyen em what do you think of them?

  • I think they operate just fine.. they do have multiple ways to set them up for maximum use. I have other videos about this crawler.. check out my axial series..."rear shock links"

  • thankyou for your input i was shyin away from em but i'll give em a try i'm tryin to set this comp rig up right.

  • also notice my shocks are "upside down". This lowers the center of gravity. Yes.. you will nee some longer bolts, because you will have to add spacers (the shock body is thick) I have mine setup so that the spring PULLS THEM DOWN.. not making the shock "sprung" . This video shows the shock "sprung" but currently, and in the other vid... they are setup for comp

  • Im going to try this i did notice that your cov is low and i wondered if that was why, thanks again for the insight

  • ahh just saw your video on the rear links, i remember watchin this awhile ago and thought it was a great idea, did'nt know you were the same guy lol!

  • somebody help me with my problem...my esc is messed up and when i go froward it has the speed it shouold have and when i go in reverse it goess really slow. aloot slower than usual some one plz help me! thanks

  • did you accidently tape your esc to your reciever box? had the same prob they went wacky for awhile try unpluggin everything for a night then hook back up.

  • that truck is sic! i just bought a redcat earthquake 3.5 have u ever played around with one?

  • i am thinking of buying a rock crawler can you give me any info on difrent sizes

  • a beginner crawler will have fun with the 2.2 series ;)

  • thank you have help me a lot

  • thank you you have helped me a lot i an thinking of geting axial

  • my pleasure my friend.. an Axial will be a good buy! good luck man, and Happy holidays!

  • happy holidays to you

  • im getting the axial ax10 crawler the artr version do they go fast?????

  • Think of the word CRAWL-ER.. and then ask me if they go fast again ;-)

  • what happens when people want to see the cars on display behind this giant rock?? lol

  • i need someone to send me RC gift this christmas..anyone??? :)Lol

  • Are there any crawler kits that have independent suspension? and are there any nitro crawler kits out there.

  • Ya know what your doing, cool ax10 5 stars

  • nice car

    is it 4x4???

  • you bet! I have a ton of vids showing it in action!

  • do you have glitces with your dx3s and novak esc?

  • Very rarely.. I find if I keep the ESC apart from the RX - Then everything is smooth

  • If you really want to sell this baby xD , I want to buy. :)

How much is the average price?

  • This is a custom build my friend...very pricey..

I have some new vids available.. it will show you how it performs ;)

Check my newest releases (Drumheller Part 2)

  • what do you think i can i buy it with no glitces?

  • to be truthful man.. Ive seen everything glitch... Just depends on where you are. Try to get the RX away from your ESC.. as far as you can.. it will help

  • I want to buy , realy :)

  • what foams you using?

  • Doubled up on stock foams at that point in time...

3 wraps of tire weights... 7 gm each...

2 on the inside of the tire, .. one on the outside of the rim

  • how much did everything cost (all together)?

  • o and im using a LiPo battery and of course the Axial AX10 scorpion ARTR

  • believe it or not.. this was actually the RTR! and after all has been said and done.. cost me about $1500.00

RC4WD R2D dig transmisssion... Bender SWX chassis, Big-bore Integy Shocks.. Special lipo battery plate.. HPI grabbers.. Novak Rooster.., the list just goes on man.. never seems to end.. Lol

As long as your having fun hey??

    ROCK ON!

  • is that the ARTR i am building one soon, i am using a Novak Goat crawler 18.5 brushless (x2) for it and Spektrum radio w/ 3ch radio and it comes w/2 servos i might put rear steering in it and ya that is my biuld i am planning. so it costs around $700+

  • did u build that your self or did u have some one build it for you?

  • What hooby shop is the video done in it seems like ive been there

  • hey man, great vid, jus wondering how u got those tyres so flat, have they got weights in them or summin, thanks man

  • yup.. they are wrapped in the front with 2 wraps of 7gm weights.. one wrap in the back.. BUT the RIMS are also drilled on the inside to let the air freely move in and out. On 1/4" drill hole on either side of the rim

  • oohh right, thanks alot man, where did you get the weights from... or is there a particuarely good website.. thanks again man.

  • Unfortunately, i gottem at my Local Hobby shop... most shops should have 'em... dont know of any online site .. but then again.. never had to look!

    Cheers

  • ok well thanks for the help anyway, KEEP ON CRAWLING

  • oh man... i h8 to think about what I put into my rigs.. lol

to much to say without being embarrassed...lmao

let's just say if you want a good rc.. be prepared to spend close to $1000 very quickly depending on the direction you go...

  • Sick Rig!

About how much do you have vested?

Makes me want to swich back from the

    Scale type Rigs

  • Dang that thing is impressive! Nice job on the build!

  • Thanks adidas :) lots of trial and error ...lots of research... and a hella lot of money! lol

  • That's what all projects are made out of. =D
