Nuff Respeck mi sistren, you took me waay back...Reminds me of my dad (The first DJ in my life) playin' his 7 inch vinyls. Thanx pops for the inspiration and thanx RootsDaughter41926 for the lovely trip down memory lane.
@Psylox7 ....blessed psylox.... how come i see your comments on uploads and your lovely messages on my channel but i can never access your channel to return the vybes?
Bwoy, mi nah no sistar...I will check my settings, maybe it's on some privacy ting. Anyhoo, good to hear from ya. Stay positive goddess, cos we live in a state of existence where only a few are really true to The Most High and themselves, so it's hard. Thanks again for the good, deep, spiritual vybes u put out thru yr musiq...it really helps. Musiq/sound is a very important element in our lives, so it is very crucial what types we attune ourselves to. Bless Up -x-
oh still keep comingback to this tune..........................mme luv itso many special and good memories of times gone by...love and bless..Kelly/Ann-Marie
I was born and raised in Delamare Ave, Kingston 13 ...Junior Byles house was just 3 houses away from me...Those were the good old days..It was sad to see him go of unsound mind...I always wonder what happens to him ever since i have migrated to the states...............sigh
he apparently is still bouncing around the streets in Kingston - i saw a somewhat recent Youtube video of him at a European festival doing "Place Called Africa" and it was pretty clear he was not well at all... he just wandered away mid song. there are many tragic figures in reggae, but he has had more than his share of troubles. his wife and kids emigrated to the US in the mid 80's.
Classic...I commented on a video of him on stage some where in France 2 weeks or so ago...was really sad to his mental state of mind was not well at all...he could only sing a few words of his songs before walking off stage...such a pity :-)
