I was a teenager when Duran was in his prime. I've watched just about every Ali fight ever aired, I've seen Ray Leonard live, I remember the excitement and electricity that Tyson brought to boxing and enjoyed watching the Roy Jones of the mid 90s who looked liked the most unbeatable fighter ever...but I've never seen anything like Paquiao. He is simply the most amazing fighter of my lifetime bar none.

@fearedrevolver09 it's kind of hard to apply pressure to pacquiao because of how fast his footwork is and how he ends up moving YOU back with his punches by applying his own pressure. i think margarito wanted to apply pressure but look at how his face ended up.

@brandeezy108 The mistake that was made was fighting in the center of the ring he only pressured him once to the ropes and hurt him applying pressure isn't moving forward and getting punched in the face it's constantly throwing punches moving forward cutting off the ring making you feel trapped like he did with Cotto he wasn't letting his hands go against Pacman i think Manny would've won anyway but the fact that he got his 8th title against a guy who wasn't a current champ was retarded

@fearedrevolver09 what would you consider broken. cotto, margarito, hatton, clottey, solis, etc. were not broken fighters. cotto has no proof that he was hit with plaster by marg. only evidence from a future fight. he still won two fights before pac, same with hatton. margarito actually did great against pac because of how much he wants to redeem himself however hard it would be. clottey came of wins, and solis was undefeated. even de la hoya came off of wins. *TO BE CONTINUED*

@fearedrevolver09 clottey being intimidated of pacquiao is pacquiao's fault? i'm sure a lot of boxers feel that way before they fight. most of floyd's opponents are intimidated. i would be too. but that is definitely not an excuse. margarito was using the jab to try and get inside. you can't just walk in there and expect to pressure pacquiao. there were times where he jabbed and followed with the straight right and just got countered instantly. he wanted to get inside but pac moves too much.

to be honest, morales never had legs................raheem was a boxer that was very mobile.............it doesn't mean morales lost his legs
to be fair to you(which you haven't been to me) I even watched his older fights when he was dominating(no way he was shot or drained) and he never really had great footwork, nor did he care to increase his ability to move around the ring

He's a warrior, he's taking all those punches from a big man and he stayed on the ropes to give a action to the fight or to let Margarito punch him. I was a teenager when Duran was in his prime. I've watched just about every Ali fight ever aired, I've seen Ray Leonard live, I remember the excitement and electricity that Tyson brought to boxing and enjoyed watching the Roy Jones of the mid 90s who looked liked the most unbeatable fighter ever...but I've never seen anything like Paquiao. He is simply the most amazing fighter of my lifetime bar none.

@solomonwisearse I never said pacquiao wasnt good, but I did say that he wasnt great, if you not just another fanboy and if you really know about boxing you can see that your grandma's balance is probably better than pacquiaos. When you see all of his fights you can see he is alwys losing his balance and the reason why he hasnt been knocked the fuck out is because he hasnt face any good boxers lately or someone as fast as him, I mean Margarito? I also watched him crush a prime Barrera who was one of the best fighters in the game at the time. Those old Pacquiao fights wars and were impressive as hell, so what's your point? I'm far from a fanboy, just calling it as I see it. Pac is the face of boxing right now and it's well deserved. Mosley is a bad choice for his next fight, but Floyd is too scared to come out and play.

@iTzHoNoR07 Nah you are wrong about that. This fight was as ripe for the pickings as it could have possibly been 6 months ago. From a business standpoint it would have been extremley stupid to risk letting these fighters fight other people given the risk of a loss or an injury. The only thing that was holding this fight up is Floyd's fear of losing. You are just hanging on to a fool's hope that this fight will happen, but Floyd will never fight Manny while he is still a dangerous fighter.

@budfr Marquez is a awesome fighter who gave Pacquiao hell, no question about that. But Marquez doesn't have 8 world titles (4 lineal), did not win fighter of the year 3x, fighter of the decade and he is not universally considered the best p4p fighter & hasn't been killing guys twice his size. These are Pacquiao's distinctions which in most people's eyes makes him the best fighter of our generation. I agree 100% that he should not be fighting Mosley which is why I'm not buying that fight.

@budfr The real blame goes to Arum and his manager Mike Koncz. They've made it very clear that they only want safe fights from now on. That means big name guys who are slow, one-dimensional, past-their-best etc. I don't think Manny really cares who's on the other corner, but his managers say that they don't want him getting beat up anymore, hence the mismatches.

ARUM is not allowing Pac to lose until he faces Floyd..period. Real boxing fans will tell you the truth and not involve hate or opinions. These are FACTS. If Mosley win ARUM still has the money fighter..same when Pac faced Diaz, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito ARUM GUYS.
