I absolutely LOVE the smiley front ends on all the Mazdas. BUT, I definitely understand why many don't like it, and in my opinion for sake of sales and appealing to the masses, they should have taken a bit more passive approach.

Man o man i work at Mazda in Australia and i saw the new Mazda 3 even drove it and it looks as bad as it drives... lets hope the CX-9 is'nt the same.

Mazda really fucked up the Speed 3 with the ridiculous smiley face! WTF were they thinking? They just shot themselves in the foot with this unbelievably bad design. I think they were watching too many anime cartoons...

There's nothing else that looks like a CX-9, but in an odd sorta way.....it looks like a lot of the SUVs out now to me. Other than the good performance, I think this car is pretty pointless......but these are just my opinions.
