  • i been wanting this for forever

  • this is the first tutorial that has actually helped me with this. preciate it

  • Help!! It woudnt let me highlight the part I want. What do I do???

  • @beatsRus23 u gotta unfreeze. under the sample window. make sure freeze is not selected

  • also i want to thank everyone for their comments and for all the views. i just made this vid for a friend and didn't think it'd reach 10. lol god bless.

  • why doesnt it even let me highlight it??

  • @Rikoshayy are you clicking and holding the left-click? its like dragging an icon to highlight.

  • helpful tutorial, sick choice of beat too

  • Dude thanks I can't wait to get home and try it. I can sample but I have a huge problem chopping. How can I tell what the bpm of the sample is?

  • can you send me the light my fire track i wanna sample it,

and thanks for the post it works perfectly great for me props

  • wrd.. aight kool.. thtz wuttup.. i wuz always wonderin why ppl had they tempos up so high.. u use slice x too?

  • @illfullyreal nah i don't know what is. i'd rather use samples like this because it gives me more range with what i want to do with samples without it being too extremely easy.

  • why 168? how duz it sound tht slow with it bein 168?

  • @illfullyreal i choose to double the tempo you would use on a mpc. so really the tempo i'm using is 84

  • wrd.. so shud u always double your tempo wen usin samples? i still be usin 80 n 90 n all lat, n sometimes it gives me a problem wit speed n shit like tht..

  • @illfullyreal not really. i know people who use 90 or 80. i just double it because thats how i've gotten used to it. it does let your drums swing a lot more

  • what song is that your sampling

  • @jack34789 lol of course people want the sample. Johnny Harris - Light My Fire. I got it from the dusty fingers series.

  • ok i tried to respond back to all those i missed before and feel free to ask more questions

  • Nice tutorial! What I want to know, because I'm new to sampling, is getting my drum pattern on time with the sample?!!! Please advise on this when the sample already has drums in it!

  • @mynameissaved it depends. you can follow the drum pattern the sample plays out or you can create your own over the sample. whichever works for you

  • ok so basically im getting the sample i want but then when i try to add it, its not going in tyime and it starts all over again, so theres like 2 of the same samples playing, what am i doing wrong? when you said your is a 2 cdount i think mine is a four, what do i need to do im really stuck?

  • @TheBlckPrince i'm not even sure what you did or how that can happen... try shortening the time of the sample more and um yeah do that

  • nice tutorial pimpn

  • good vid buh u really need to learn short commands makes thing faster n easier

  • well done...

  • Nice, thanks!

  • thanks man i really appreciate it man

  • how you slow the sample down send it to me in a note. Also good shit, these tutorials never have enough time too explain everything step by step.

  • i'd rather do that here.

at around 5:33 you can see me turn the middle knob, because that's where the arrow is at, and that changes the speed of the sample.

  • whats that songs name the one you sampled? thankss.

  • @zuikerklont johnny harris - light my fire. mad late i know but i reeeeally don't look at my comments lol
