Yes, Randy (Tripp's Daddy) was at his son's services as he has also been apart of Tripp's life from day one and is also greatful for the wonder Mother Courtney was to his son.

@MrLucky123go thanks. i felt kind of awkward asking, but it would've been easy to make stupid assumptions & it's nice to know the truth. from the picture at the beginning of this video, where all 3 of them are together and Tripp's face is clear, it looks like he was a spitting image of his daddy! i've been praying for Randy all along in particular because most people only mention Courtney, but i'll be praying for you too - as an aunt who helped raise my nephew i can't imagine.

We live next door to the family. I think everyone in Louisiana knows about Tripp. He was a special little guy. Thank you all for your condolences, as they are really comforting to his family, neighbors, and the thousands that prayed for him. I think a little bit of all of us died with him. Rest in peace Tripp Tripp, we'll see you again someday.

Thanks for the second post I was trying to work out what I had said!! I agree with you, the poor baby spent so much time in hospital anyway with operations etc, that he was in a much better place being cared for at home. BTW his mother is a nurse too; she and her mother cared for him beautifully 24/7. no matter the care you don't that love in a hospital. Anyway he is at peace now, bless him .

PS: Your English is pretty good and better spelled than some English speakers!

Probably because the couldn´t do more fore him at a hospital, and then it´s better for a child to be in home instead. to sleep in his own bed, to rock in their own rocking chair and so on, have you read the mothers blog? They had doctors and medicin and things like that at home, and his mother is by far the best expert of her child and his disease.

Tripp's story got in one of the most touching stories in a big newspaper company in Finland. It's sad how this can happen to a small baby, but nobody ever said the world is a fair place. But, however, I wish all best for Tripp and his future.

The kid must be in horrible pain. Not being able to even take a bath without anesthesia is just insane. He must be suffering all the time, suffering being all he knows he might not even show it. Of course, his family loves him and having your child die is every parents nightmare but when a child has such a horrible condition, keeping the child alive is the worst thing to do. Sadly, he will be kept alive and in pain until a natural death, since human euthanasia is illegal in the US.
