i have loved loved this ghazal since i was a teenager,in habib wali's voice,and have such a story attached to this ghazal,had picked up my girl from a wedding,in karachi,and she was wearing such a beautiful shalwar kameez,she usually wore jeans,as our evening was winding down i was asking her not to leave,as i was asking i slipped in the CD in the car's player,and lo and behold,it was habib wali,singing this very ghazal!needless to say she stayed for a while longer!!!
