  • So ive noticed bloods dont get very long, just big roundwise, also your beard is epic

  • Don I've had tons of snakes bloods boas pythons ect and just a few dogs guess which one bit me first the dumb dog. It all depends on the animal and person anything with a mouth can bite.

  • @donchilenito yeah man these guys pose about as much a risk to humans as a kitty kat lol seriosuly though they are some of the best animals you can own I have one myself. @slacker6848 nice looking blood

  • @sn8kecowboy84 I've had alot more cuts, scratches, and scars from my cat then any snake. my cat must scratch me a few times a week, i only have any marks from my snakes when it's time for babies. The bottom line is these animals aren't dangerious if you know how to handle them

  • ye she is beautiful.. until the day she will kill you... this type of snake shouldnt be allowed as pet.. no python snake..

  • @DonChilenito I don't know what you THINK you know about pythons, especially Blood Pythons, but it's obviously not correct because this species can NOT kill me. Ignorance with misinformation like this is what's wrong with this world. before you start trying to spread rumors because you want to sound intelligent please don't and get informed before you make stupid comments like this, if you would like to be informed I can do that but Don't spread false information

  • @slacker6848, i'm not spreading false information, and yes it can kill you not eat you, but kill you is it gets you on the neck. and i meant all type of python snakes that grows up to 13ft+... i know you may take good care of it, but unfortunately there are to many cases of people that does not take care of them well and realeses them into the wild aswell.. i'm no spearding false information i'm just saying my opinion.. i love snakes but i dont like people to have them as pet.

  • @DonChilenito you go from saying any python to saying any python that grows up to 13ft+, quite a jump you just made, blood pythons do not reach that side, this is know as a large female, if you knew anything about this species you would already know that. No this animal cannot kill me, maybe a malnurished, eldery or child, but not a healthy full grown adult. There has in fact never been a death from a blood python that i'm aware of. These make great pets.

  • @DonChilenito Also FACT there are more dog related injuries and deaths in the USA in 1 year then there are Snakes in 5 years probably more like 10+ years but I'm going by fact that I know, look it up. So stop trying to put a small fraction of the Reptile hobby responsible for millions of others that do it correctly. If you loved snakes as you claim then you should research them to find this crap that you think you know is incorrect and might wanna change your thoughts on them and this hobby.

  • @slacker6848. yes.. but dogs are pets now days.. and lives all around the world.. while pythons doesent belong in USA.. or havent you know what happend already in florida? second pythons are mor dangerous than a dog. having a big python is like having a lion as pet..

  • @DonChilenito WOW compairing big pythons to lions you truely have quite the imagination. I know all about the pythons in the everglades in florida, obviously ALOT more then you do. Pythons are pets in the USA, MILLIONS of people have PET Pythons, and there is completely nothing wrong with it, these "Big Pythons" you are refering to CAN be dangerious, but taken the proper precautions just like some agressive dogs, the danger of serious harm is removed. I would much rather get bit by a large....

  • @DonChilenito Python then ANY Dog no matter how big it is. Dogs have blunt teeth long and big. Pythons have very skinny sharp needle like teeth and 90% of the time it is so quick you don't realize it untill your bleeding and just wipe it off put a little peroxide on it and your fine. With dogs you almost ALWAYS have to have it treated because infection usually sets in pretty quick. Stop talking out of your ass because you have no idea what your talking about and out of your elements.

  • @DonChilenito You must have fallen from Mars or something because Blood Pythons will not kill you. They are one of the tamest pythons I have handled and it seems you haven't handled any (or any snake for that matter). Stop spreading false rumors about something you don't know anything about!

  • @DonChilenito Not very smart little guy lol

  • Great looking blood you have there.

  • i think i had watched this video hundred of times, but still im still amazed on how beautiful your blood pythons are. cant wait to see mine that big though blood pythons are too big for a small guy like me. lol. i really like their huge build with a small length. really nice videos. keep'em comin:)

  • @Fourteen88SoCal Thanks, she's over 6' and over 20lbs now

  • @slacker6848 Wow she is HUGE! and looks very docile

  • @SEANPR2 She's over 20lbs and no where near fat, she's gotten a little longer after this video, she's over 6' and I'm giving her this season off so by this time next year she'll be up around 25lbs+

  • VIKING POWER!!! lol i love that blood, shes huuge dont sell her! unless its to me...

  • Beautiful blood man....

  • love the snake

  • @MABEITSMAX Thanks man

  • Awesome snake! I just bought a blood python. Can't wait til it's big like that mwuhahah

  • @mswamprat Thanks, she's one of the biggest I've seen, good luck with yours

  • thats one of thr biggest bloods i have ever seen nice blood i cant wait till i have a blood

  • @tokay999 thanks, they've got to be one of my fav species

  • beautiful

  • @SBERG231 Thanks

  • what kind of blood is she do you kno she is hella big I like that for my summer hang out's when I take my babes out to chill with me..

  • @OnTheBallReptiles I'm not sure of her locality but she is a P. Brongersmai and 6'+

  • Viking MAN, love that beard you got going on their bro! Nice blood

  • @ReidHarris7 Thanks man

  • how difficult is it to breed these guys ?

  • @rrredzzz pretty easy I think, they go more by light cycles then temp drops but doing both i find in my experience makes it even more effective.

  • HOLY FUCKING SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIT SHES HUGE!

IVE NEVER SEEN ONE SO BIG.. fuckin MONSTER bro, shes gorgeous

Wats their growth like ? how old is this girl

  • @rrredzzz LOL, I believe she's an early 05 or an 04, I'm not quite sure, a friend of mine bought her and ended up giving her to me because he didnt have time back in 06, she's a solid 6'+ and weighs about 20-25lbs depending on last time she bred. Her size like I'm sure you know isn't commen to be that big, I have yearling at about 1-2lbs. She usually gives me a big clutch of eggs, I'm hoping for 27+ in the 2011-2012 season.

  • Dude, I saw you on mycarthyboas. I'm also on the big boa page. I'm the dude in the blue shirt and the really gold colombian. Is your boa on the big boa page a male?

  • how much are u selling the babies??

  • there you have it people. jesus has a blood python!

  • she's bbeeaaauuutttiiiffuuullll!

  • looks pretty heavy hehe. i want one to add to my collection.

  • @hotchicky8 I believe she's gravid again so I may be able to help you out there in a few months if youd like

  • really? that would be awesome! how much would you sell the babies for? and do you ship? because I live in canada.

  • @hotchicky8 I ship but sorry I dont export as I live in the USA

  • bummer. Thanx anyway. love your vids

  • Damn she is one big Blood. I hope my girl gets that big pretty quickly, she's still pretty young though, maybe 5-6 months old. Anyways, you have one beautiful girl!

  • @cooliotiffany it take time for them to get this big, and some may never get this big, just dont rush it as a powerfed rushed blood is usually an obese unhealthy blood

  • I'm definitely watching what I feed my Blood, I already know how obese they can get so I'm for sure watching what I feed my Blood. I guess I'm a sucker for larger snakes like this, thanks though!

  • first off.

    - Brutal Beard

    - Killer Snake

    - You know your shizz

    Epic Win.

  • @Cur1yWur1y Thanks, I try to learn as much as possible and there's always more to learn

  • She's pretty big, she's gravid again I believe so next year she'll have off to gain some weight, I think she'll be around 25lbs when she's ready to breed again

  • well ummm let me ask this can u help them shed or do u need to let them do it there self i mite get one so plz tell me what i need to know about them

  • let them do it themselves, if they have problems you can sometimes step in as if they have a retained eyecap or whatnot, just google blood python care sheets and there's plenty of info out there

  • @slacker6848 ok so if i get one dont help like i do my normal ball python ?

  • @lox477 with any snake there's no need to help unless it's having a rough shed, which is the only time you should step in. if it keeps having a rough shed check your husbandry because something somewhere is wrong.

  • what local is she?

  • @thefreakbutcher I dont know for sure exacly what locality she is, I was told by a few people that she looked like she could be malaysian but of course there's no telling for sure. I just know she's a P. Brongersmai

  • blood pythons are the most aggressive snakes i have had to handle next to reticulated pythons and white lip pythons. of course they can do back flips and tag you when your handling them from the back

  • @jtgdup W/C bloods and retics can be a complete nightmare but cbb animals usually settle down great with constant gentle handling. I also think that the temperament of the parents can be passed down to an extent to their offspring. The only blood's Ive been bit by were hatchlings and all the babies from her are rather docile except for the first few days out of the egg. my retic and bloods are my favs to handle. Also these 2 species will NOT put up with being restrained

  • She is SO beautiful! I'm a boa gal for the most part, but I'd love to have a blood when I get a bigger place. I don't hear good things about their temperment, but I'm hopeful that I'll find one that doesn't eat my hand.

  • @beckyls81 bloods usually aren't nearly as bad as their rep. out of her clutch, all the babies were very easy to handle with some patients and the one's I kept, most are more docile then my boas. It's just getting use to what they do and dont like. CBB is the only way to go tho if you're wanting a docile one.

  • Very big female!

  • @chondrohead44 she does have some size to her, that was right before breeding so she was just a little bigger then normal but she is over 6' now

  • art thay nice? and were do thay live?

  • @mismag9221 i'm sorry what's the question?

  • ARE THAY NICE thats what i ment:)

  • Can't wait for mine to get that big!

  • you got an awesome blood here, congrats!!!

  • @acido909 Thanks

  • hey, was just wondering if you knew how to determin the sex of blood pythons? is it pretty much the same as ball pythons? I read something that said all bloods probe male when first born regardless? I just thought I'd ask...that blood is ace!! :)

  • I've never herd someone refer to a snake as "ace" but I think that's a compliment so thanks, lol. as far as probing goes, I've never probed bp's but with bloods it is a little difficult, I haven't perfected it, it's very easy to have a female look like a male if you don't get it right. I take all my offspring to the vet to get a second expert opinion so I can guarantee the sex. but if you do it right, not all probe males, only the males and the ones you don't do right, if that makes any sense.

  • BORNEO!!!!!!!!!

  • Just because you see a brown phase blood do not assume it's a borneo, my biggest pet peeve is people mislabeling their animals. She is in FACT a P. Brongersmai NOT a P. Breitensteini. please get your facts straight before accusing me of mislabeling

  • @slacker6848 I was not insulting you in any way. normally P. Brongersmai are alot more red and as u probably know, borneos are normally more brown, so it looks like u just have one ugly brong!

  • @johnnyluvstacos you have the right to have an opinion and I respect that but I also have the right to disagree, I think shes a beautiful example of a clean brown phase, there's also yellow phase bloods which are cool too. I just love the whole STP group, the only ugly STP is a hybrid

  • @slacker6848 I didn't mean to seem like an asshole I was just noting that by the spieces standard it is considered "ugly' because of the lack of red in the individual. I personally think that is a very nice looking animal and I also agree with you that yellow phase are cool. I own a yellow phase and I also own a blood with a very deep red coloring. I just thought yours was a borneo, thats all.

  • dude u have a snake on ur chin..lol jk great video man and solid healthy lookin snake bro!

  • Thanks man, gonna try to get her to take again this year

  • beautiful!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks

  • dude bloods ar amazing,i ha a 5ft male borneo, best snake ive ever had.i plan on getting a pair of reds.

  • thats cool, i like the ultra breit borneos, I'm hoping to have another clutch of bloods this year

  • Gotcha ! Yup, oh nice tanks, those look like six footers? Cor I never tire of looking at beautiful Bloods, they really are in a class of thier own aren`t they...

  • Bloods really are, yes they're 6'

  • Moto? What that? Sorry I`m easily confused lol

  • Do you think we could see your tank actually? I want to see more of that room too ! lol It look really cosy ! :)

  • if you watch the video Moto that's her cage I'll see what I can do bout geting a video, I'm moving in a month or so so I might just wait till I set up the other room

  • Yeah that`s what I do, my most twitchy one has calmed a lot but still makes a dash for it when handled, big improovement though in six months or so. What size tank are you keeping her in?

  • she's in an AP T25 cage which is 72x30x18.

  • Wow she`s beautiful ! I hope my biggest grows to be that calm! I`m trying....

  • Thanks alot, all it takes is a little work, other then the videos she doesnt get handled much anymore, just cleaning usually but she's kept her docile attitude, same with my male

  • nice video- i wish more people had vids of blood handling

  • Thanks, I know what you mean, most people only post the ones when the blood is ticked off which makes people think they're so agressive and mean when CBB ones are pretty docile and laid back

  • how is their mood (like aggresiveness towards humans) different from ball pythins?

  • every animal has it's own personality, CBB bloods usually become quite docile if worked with.

  • I love bloods, they are like ball pythons on staroids.

  • I have seen the T+ albino chery bombs by NERD I am not an expert at the genetics but would u know any one else who sells cherry bombs besides VPI? The best of cherry bombs do come from them? did VPI start teh cherry bomb morph? how old is the cherry bomb morph?

  • i saw this one bloda called "cherry bomb" and they say bloods can actually cost up to 25K?! I might get me a more affordable blood what kinds do ubreed?

  • just about any species can cost that much for a morph that just came out. Cherry Bombs are a line bred T+ albino for their intence color. I breed normals for now. if your interested in her babies I have a video of them, on here. and the Video of the 1.0 Blood is the Sire

  • thats a fat blood python

  • she looks bigger then she really is, right now shes about 6-6 1/2' and about 18lbs

  • one word, AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • Thanks, I got most of her babies on f/t already, she had 8.5

  • What kind of blood is it??

  • she's a P. Brongersmai, not sure her actual locality tho

  • r they vicious

  • no, the babies i have are a little bit nippy but not too bad, they'll usually only bite if you make too fast of movements because they're not use to being handled much yet

  • That is a pretty blood!

  • Thanks, I just uploaded a new video of her

  • Do you still have some for sale? How old are they?

  • they're not available yet, they just started pipping on the 20th, I still plan to have a few available, message me to discuss it more

  • one of the largest ones ever recorded in captivity was over 9' but female average 5-6' and male average 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 feet

  • is that normal size? or is that really big? does anybody know where to get a baby blood python? can you have petco specially order one?

  • she's pretty big, she's 6', she laid eggs that are due to hatch on the 21st so I should have some for sale if your interested email me

  • i would but if the mom is that big i am afraid the babys will get that big. i want a normal size one. lol. how much are you selling them for?

  • and also i don't know nething about bloods. what is the kind that is the most "blood red" of them? and how much, roughly, would one of those cost me?

  • if you donno anything about bloods your not ready to get one, do some research on them and you'll find the answers to your questions while your learning about the species, cost depends on where you get it

  • That thing is wild. and beautiful. he says its never tried to bite him. But i would imagine that if you raised it from when it was young and handled it a good bit they'd grow up to not be aggressive and not bite. Is that true about these snakes or is my assumption wrong?

  • with a CBB baby I think your about 99% correct but of course there's some that are just out to get you, lol, she just laid eggs and should hatch end of june.

  • what kind of bloo is that

  • I donno it's locality, it's just a gold brongersmai, I've been told it looks like a Malaysian but I don't have any background on it and even if it is a Malaysian there's no way to tell if she's full blood

  • beautiful snake! 5 stars!

  • Thanks man

  • wow, shes big. realy nice snake

  • Thanks, I believe she's gravid now

  • beautiful bro, absolutely gorgeous!

  • Thanks man

  • hey i really want to get a blood. and i wanted to know how many/what species of snake u had before this one. just message me cuz i might have more questions. thanks

  • is she a yellow brongersmai?

  • she is a brongersmai, alot of people sometimes think she's a breitensteini due to her pattern and color but isnt, she's not the true malaysian yellow blood so I just call her a gold phase brongersmai

  • very nice i actually got to see 1 in person for the first time... dont know much about them but really am thinking about getting this 1 i got my mind set on a 5ft male blood....just trying to replace my 5 male boa which pass away on me a few days ago so im stuck on should i get a burmese or a blood python what you think? once again good vid!!!

  • beautiful girl bro - nice and thick

  • wow thanks. you seem to know your big snakes, i wonder if you could help me.. i want to get a bigger snake but i am stuck between a carpet python and a blood. i hear bloods can be abit stroppy but carpet pythons can get pretty long. what would you reccomend i work with bigger snakes at work and i have always loved bloods. thanks

  • bloods do get fatter and stay shorter. and carpets are long and skinny. really though between carpets, it truly depends on which kind you get. jungles are the shortest and reach between 5-7 feet, so they still arent huge. but they like there cages taller because they climb. bloods generally stay between 4-6 ft. and they require shorter cages because they dont climb. but if you can provide for either one, then just choose what you like best.i personally have two bloods and i like them a lot.

  • wicked im thinking about getting one actually is she fully grown yet?

  • she's only 4 years old so she'll get a little bigger and gain some more weight

  • lovely blood! what do you feed her? x

  • I feed her XXL rats about every other week

  • Beautiful blood. Thanks for the video.

    5 stars.

  • How big of an enclosure does a blood of that size need? She probably couldn't be housed in a tub like ball pythons can huh?

  • Gorgeous snake, Im actually in the market for one myself. Waiting to see some of the '09 batches at VPI, hoping to get my hands on one of their albino reds.

Is this your first breeding attempt?

  • I have to say, she's fucking bad ass! I love bloods!

  • Thanks man, I'm breeding her now

  • wow look at the girth on that thing!

  • she atleast has to weigh 35-40lbs

  • dam thats a big blood, she will be a good breeder, any thoughts on a male? they have some awsome bloods out now

  • do you have it on rabbits or still big rats?

  • I still have her on big rats, when she reaches 20+ lbs I might start her on 2lb rabbits

  • Damn, that blood python is huge, man!!! I can't wait for mine to get that size! Good job!

  • Damn brother that blood is massive, I have a 07 male that's starting to grow finally, Im hoping on picking up a T-positive adult male soon. Nice man!

  • Thanks, Good luck with getting an T+, I'd love a Cherry Bomb albino or a pair of matrix bloods to produce some Ivorys

  • Yeah cherry and matrixs are really nice, I would love to get my hands on a ivory.

  • woooow, she's huge! looks SUPER awesome...4 years old...boy i cant wait until my Blood starts putting some real size on him lol $;-)

  • hows the temperament on yours doing? I'm 6' and 200lbs to give you a size comparison on how big she is

  • I love bloods and I love your blood! Awesome!

  • Thanks, she's the one that got my to first like bloods, i didn't really like them until my friend gave her to me

  • yiu said 15 lbs? I'd say more like 50

  • She's no where near 50lbs, she's between 15-18

  • Just looks huge, awesome blood !

  • mannnn is she fat
