@ApprenticeBaker98 of course they got together. we know he has feelings for her. then he travels all the way across the world and "just so happens to bump into her". she had to go cause she had to follow her dream. they'll go to dinner. she'll watch him become his own person and follow his dreams like she did. they'll keep being there for eachother. mrs meade made them both aware of how daniel felt so their feelings can be out in the open as they start a new relationship in a new place together.

To me the sadest part is 4:25, it reminds me the moment when I had to leave Bogotá and move to London and I had to say goodbye to my family.

I think the ending is perfect...if they had ended up together, it would have been such a cliche, I like how the writers left it, Daniel has realised he has feelings for Betty, they are both single and "going for dinner", its left open.

I'm actually over the moon that they didn't kiss. It's obvious they're going to get together, but a kiss would have just given that fact to us on a plate. Don't complain, the writers gave us some nice subtlety and implications there as opposed to an obvious ending that some people thought they could see from the beginning

@Julie15gtc That ending your referring to was done over and over. In Colombia and Mexico and many other versions of UGLY BETTY.  I personally prefer Betty living out her Dream in a Career as a Writer and Editor like she wanted whn the Show started. She blossomed and became a strong independent woman in the world. Im glad this ending had nothing to do with a guy making her happy. Although this ending leaves it open to viewers as to why Daniel dropped everything to following Betty. Well Done!
