i think, i'm not sure but the cockroaches the old dude seems to be looking at represents humanity and the elderly man represents God and in the end he guards the cockroaches than the old man sacrifices himself for his fellow cockroaches(humanity) so yeah im not sure man i may be wrong i suggest askin more people to see if its really true i dunno

This is kinda late but the lyrics in the song in my opinion are of 2 things, the 1st is that beauty can be found in the most unexpected places,and 2nd is baptism, the first lines mentioning purity and being cleansed with the water are referring to holy water and being pure..The lines "what lies here are mountains composed of tombstones" and "will we push bedlam noise to the state of blissfulness" refer to beauty found in unexpected places
