  • i watch this a lot. the orchestra is not very good, but its just a high school. sadly i was not fortunate enough to see miss Saigon and the acting and the singing in this production is surprisingly very good considering its a high school. i saw Elizabeth Judd in Spring Awakening and she was fantastic, very talented i hope to see her more on Broadway. Also this is really good quality, which just makes it better. Thank you for sharing this!

  • I love the engineer in this. He's perfect and slimy.

  • If only the rights for this were available in the UK. Cameron Macintosh is such a massive dick.

  • there not really on count

  • perfect cast when ever i think of the chareters i think of this cast

  • this cast could easyily be on the west end!!!

  • Is Elizabeth Judd half Chinese?

  • @nobase nope she is half latina tho

  • hey! were having our elementary play of miss saigon too!!!!!

  • an elementary school is doing miss saigon?

  • yes, us gr. 6, is that amazing!!! our teacher instruct us make miss saigon, and i am Cris!!!

  • the engineer is extremely good

  • the acting in this is impeccable, but i'm gonna be brutally honest: the orchestra is definitely the weak link. they're just not good enough for this musical.

  • i agree!

  • do you have the entire production filmed or just the songs? i would really love to watch the whole thing if you do have it.

  • The entire production can be located on youtube.

  • "Get your butts on stage, I'm raising cash tonight!"

"Son of a gun, they're here!"

    :-)

Awesome Engineer, by the way. He sounds just like the one on the Complete MS Soundtrack.

  • you guys are soooo lucky to be able to do that show!! I go to a catholic school and while i like going to catholic schools their restrictions are quite annoying! were doing Pippin right now and we had to clean that up lol

  • isnt pippin almost a gay show

  • We did Pippin in my high school as well years ago when I was there. We had to do a "censored" version for high school shows which I am sure you will have to do as well. The girl who was our leading player is now a performer in NYC. Oh but guess what else? A few months afterwards my chorus took a trip to see Fossee with Ben Vereen in it. And he met us because he heard we had done Pippin and were big fans of him.

  • I just don't understand. It's not a suitable story for a high school performance and that is proven by the ammount of 'editing' they had to do w/ the lyrics of this opening sequence. There's talent here but I can think of so many more musicals that wouldnt HAVE to be messed with in order to be suitable for 'young' ears. :)

  • I agree..the editing did make some of it not make as much as sense...but you can't deny this cast has talent!

  • the bombs were not played up nearly enough... the mood was not conveyed in the opening scene.

  • "son of a gun" hahaha...

  • the engineer is my fave character and is played real good here

  • Considering the restrictions of age/budget/language/ethnicity/etc., this was excellent!

  • I agree!

  • the engineer is good :D
