  • @WLKCONSULTING

Go to the Filter menu, click on Distort and take a look at the Liquify tools....use with caution and there are plenty of YouTube tutorials to show you how the use them

  • thank you so much! this is one of those few tutorials that actually click! you awesome person :D

  • One more thing to blend the image, you can flip the image horizontally so the light on her (coming from the left) looks like it's coming from the sun, after that you can use a lighting effect if needed. Also you can try to match the sun's color by changing the color balance on her layer.

  • Thank you:)

  • how do you add a picture watermark to a picture?

  • Does anyone know how to create a Vector Mask Layer on Photoshop element 6?

  • Thank YOU!!! :)

  • Love your videos but why would you wear that 'business suit' whilst on a tropical holiday

  • Concerning the back ground files - do you make your own or are they pre-made in photoshop to choose from? Can you down load samples from somewhere?

  • I dont have any options when I click organize......How can I get to backgrounds?

  • @keekify if i'm not mistaking, you can find them. they are just pictures. just google image some backround photos. somebody correct if i'm wrong here, but that's what i do.

  • nice video man! thanks!

  • Most people dont have a picture of them on a clean background. That is what is causing the problem that it looks fake. They have pictures with busy backgrounds. This is helpful to people with professional pictures taken of them

  • how do you delete background?? You don't say what key does that!! you just do it!!

  • @MrFrenchWhatAFuK I'm sorry once you have it selected use your DELETE key.

  • @CreativeFossil I just wanted to see how many people caught that. This is showing that you are learning well!

    Good Job.

  • thanks jack! thought I was always doing it wrong using the blur tool to blend things in, rather then the feathering tool. A Huge thank You for the control G funtion, i did not know about that. I am a self ( slow ) learner, and I appreciate that function, needed that many times. thanks so much for the useful tut.

  • y not use magnetic lasso tool instead of that quick selection?

  • @eente501 Yes the DVD sales are what keeps the new Versions coming and helps to pay for the web site. I also use it to pay for any new equipment I need for the studio.

And my ad is small compared to TV and Radio.

Thanks for watching and if you would like to place a order check out my web site.

  • thanks for the great tutorial

  • thanks for the tutorial. as a little addition maybe a little peripheral defocus on the background would've looked good too, to add some depth of field to isolate the subject. just my opinion.

  • I actually enjoyed this video and it was very helpful. Thanks so much!

  • I actually enjoyed this video and it was very helpful. Thanks so much!

  • thank you so much your very helpful!

  • If there's 'No pixels selected' then I believe it is because you either locked the layer or you made a second layer before you even cut out the person, and you are actually trying to select the second layer, where there are no pixels.

  • Mediocre material, nothing PRO

  • It's interesting tutorial and I learn but just want to know how to adjust the picture when it's bigger than the background.

  • i tired this today and my photoshop elements came up wiht no pixels were selected, im really strugling to get pictures open onto the same page! can you please help ??

  • I tried this, and failed, it said that no pixels were selected when they were! I did what you did :(

  • mine did this 2 :(

    please can someone help?

  • @stardent Thanks for pointing that out. I did this on purpose to see how creative all of the viewers will be to this. Very good job pointing this out.

  • @42technoman Bullshit.

  • @42technoman Lies...

  • @42technoman Sure

  • Thank you Jack . A great video . Hope I can come back to you in the near future for more help and advice .

  • @jessicassecrets Thanks for writing

  • your voice sounds like George W Bush... ;)

  • maybe if you flipped the woman so that her back faced to the left, it would look twice as convincing.

  • pretty neat. How do you post video of the computer screen itself and have you talking in the background? What are all the list of items that you use for posting a video such as this one on youtube?

  • @ussprinceton2004 On the Mac I like IShowUHD or Screen Flow. On the PC side I like to use Cam Studio. Thank for posting and good luck on your own screen casts.

  • good tut vid and I like the 70s porn music when the video begins.

  • corny music ha ha wtf

  • I need someone to help me with this school project. We have to blend picture of our self with our favorite actress... And to look like we've met.. Can someone please help me.. It's really important.

  • do the pictures have to be the same size in order to do this???

  • @HaileyRenae21 No and you can resize the pictures after you are done moving it.

  • @HaileyRenae21 no coz you can cyhange siz

  • Thanks for another easy to follow tutorial! Agree that Photoshop CS4 can do more. The huge cost difference with complex format is a little much for anyone not using it for professional reasons. For photography enthusiast and scrapbookers, Elements does quite a lot with a more intuitive structure. I give it a high recommend.

  • gr8 work man

  • video showed exactly what it said it would in a way that was simple enough to follow. perfect. :)

  • Thanks for posting! This was helpful.

  • this was good, except with the sun behind her face, the sunlight would be going through her hair. i'm just saying.

  • does photoshop elements have simularities to the normal photoshop?? im doing this in college next year so i wanna get prepared

  • @21Placebo Photoshop elements is basically photoshop for people who aren't willing to learn professional photoshop. Its a way to get professional results without the hassle of learning a lot of technical things. It doesn't have as many features and its pretty simple to use however you can still make great things. If you are going to school for this particular thing I recommend you get the normal photoshop like CS4 Elements 8 costs around $100 and CS4 costs about $700 or extended for $1000

  • Great Photoshop learning tool. I purchased your Volume 1 dvd and plan to order volume 2. Keep up the good work

  • Many tutorials on youtube, but yours are really helpfull and easy to follow.. also for non american people... Thanks Technoman! Great work!!

    Thanks,

    André from Holland

  • i was wondering i cant figure out how to make an image see through thats my biggest problem and i cant find out how....can you help?

  • i was waiting for you to flip her picture facing the right side since the sun is on that side to allow the light on her face to be authentic. How do you do that? anyway, great tip.

  • Really you would never shoot with the sun light in the face of the subject, you would use a reflector to reflect the light back into the or on the side of the face. This is kind of the effect I was looking for here. Thanks for the tip.

  • you go edit go down to transform then click on flip horizontal this is how you flip the image this is how you do that on photoshop cs5

  • you are great

  • Let's face it how many commercials do you see when watching TV? This is the only way to advertise my DVD's and it helps to keep the shows going. Thanks for the comment.
