  • Watching the challenge from 2007 and then hearing Mr. Fleetwood say he ..."was misunderstood." seems very polite on his part. The 2007 challenge should have been heeded and used as it was obviously intended; as an energizing and motivating video. Instead- I read petulant and self absorbed comments from the very same 25 hour a day online do nothings that had a true shot at making a change during a pivotal moment in our Nation's history.

They chose to squander that opportunity; as is the fashion.

  • 20 years ago, what were they thinking? 20 years from now, what will they be asking? Will they be asking?

    Great song. Great band.

  • The world needs more like you...

  • "None of it worked"

Yea, because it can't work. There isn't anything you can do. There isn't anything to change because nothing is even there. I'm really tired of this naive Romanticism.

  • The ending question is great.

  • it isn't hard to blame the students...they continue to buy into the culture, the culture being work hard for little so you can spend a bunch and party hard and ignore what is really going on...i hate to make a blanket statement like that, but if students, and the rest of the masses, really gave a fuck about anything past their own noses then things would be drastically different...it is time to stop talking and start blowing shit up

  • Oh wait a second... you live in the basement of a dorm at a shitty private school (this is a fact, its the only reason I troll his videos)... so basically you're telling people: "yea kids go nuts! But don't let the administration know that ass fuck who inspired you is hiding in their dorm basement. (when he doesn't even work for the school (!))"

    Gamed.

  • @Rsfunkityo You troll his videos because he lives at a private school?

What are you, the private school police?

  • You remind me of a philosophy instructor I had, he wore patchouli and said 'betwixt' alot.

  • @davisfleetwood What are your global views? Please post a comment on my channel! DANKE! :o)

  • keep it up davis!

  • @davisfleetwood Medication for mental illness only makes the illness worse!

  • Okay thanks for the reply. It just seems like he was bribed during the Bill.

  • fight fire with fire, now there's an original concept.

  • @XxUrSoLoStxX It is 4 Democrats! lol

  • Keep doing your thing I agree that no one cares except for the people that do. WW3 will happen soon and we really can try to stop it but, too many want it.

  • Awesome, I graduate in 2011. None of this crap applies to me! Oh wait, it totally does. All noted.

  • america is dying.

  • Good stuff. Thanks.

  • @no1chapski u just dissed a sport w millions of fans (nascar) and i dnt rly care for the ufc but its the real fights thatre exciting about that. (a whole mix of fightin styles thus mma) and also to those whore bashing fox u havent been in war its called war for a reason. I doubt u know anyone who has and talked about it

  • NOOOOOOO!!! Don't jump into that toilet - substitute "Republic" for "Demorcary" if you want. Stop with the word games!!! WHEN PEOPLE VOTE FOR THIER LEADERS - WAR DOES NOT HAPPEN. Call the elected government whatever you like!!!!!!

If you want to take it that far there are no nor has there ever been a true democracy they are ALL republics. In a true democracy the people vote for EVERYTHING they do not elect those to cast their votes for them!!!

  • You cannot name one single instance in world history - where a democratically elected government has started a war - it has NEVER happened!! They have gotten into wars after they were attacked first (like US after Pearl Harbor). But having a Democracy START a was - NOPE IT HAS NEVER HAPPENED - I think the politicians are too afraid of losing their power!!!!!!;-))

  • One way oir th eother - WE ARE ALREADY heading towards ending all war!!!!!!! It is true!!!! In the history of the earth - no demorcary has EVER declared war on another democracy!! IT has NEVER happened!! So once we are all demoracries - WAR ENDS!!!! We will simply have no enemies left!!!!!! CHINA - are you jerking my monkey chain??? WOuld YOU atttack someone that owed yo $7.5 TRILLION????? They may be commies - but they do love money also!!!!!

  • @Earthlinked There's always a first time. All it takes is a planned event to make one democracy look evil so that another one looks just in attacking it.

  • @LordSaber

Democracies DO NOT ATTACK EACH OTHER!!! They know that in the end, war is NOT a great way to handle problems - the politicians MAY lose their power - and tehy will NEVER agree to that!!!!!! The ONLY LOVE that politicians have is the LOVE of being elected again! PERIOD!!!!

  • @Earthlinked You are making it seem like a democracy is a separate and individual entity. It isn't. Ever heard the saying "a democracy is two wolves and a sheep arguing over what's for dinner"? Democracy is just a buzz word really. In theory it would be great, but it doesn't work at the moment. A democracy can just as easily attack anyone, including another democracy, so long as greed is a motivator in human actions.

  • I have heard the wolves/sheep statement! DO NOT forget: Liberty is a well armed sheep contesting the vote. (attributed to B Franklin - but PROBABLY NOT - because the word LUNCH was not used until after about 1830 - DECADES after Franklins death in 1790!! (called midday meal)

Democracy DOES work at the moment - an autocracy does not need rules or votes - just one guy holding all the power!! If others are allowed to vote without punishment - war simply NEVER happens!

  • @Earthlinked I think you are confusing democracy with republic. And your description of Democracy does not exist in this world. Name one democracy where that has actually EVER occurred.

  • Here we go, some classic Fleetwood. Much appreciated.

  • rock on Mr. Fleetwood. :)

  • every day when i struggle from my bed and take another dose of pain med because i was hurt om the job and that was all that i was given by workers comp insurance i look at all the news i wonder what has happened to the american dream?

  • the " Russ " aint stopping for noting:

    watch?v=L1rT2z3bdOc&feature=related

Russ: last year of school celebration in norway

  • If i could afford it i would have donated ages ago. Nice job again. Totally agree with your points, especially the 'never going to be repaid point'. This cannot be emphasized enough, i hope we are thinking the same thing (subservience through economic manipulation from the fed bank).

  • Have we invented new ways of protest?! Of course we have. It's called hactivism. Using the internet to deface and disrupt "business as usual" by spamming gov email accounts and disrupting e-commerce. Look at the events of the group anonymous and their work with "operation tit storm" against the new Australian legislation. This is the new era. This is what's to come.

  • I have a new respect for you every day

  • good stuff.

  • how many ceremonies have been disrupted by the military industrial complex?

i recall a wedding party getting blown to bits a few years ago in afghanistan, but suppose that's perfectly fine huh war troll?

    thanks for the friend-up davis.

  • I find it quaint that you still have hope that the grip of the M.I.T. can be broken. And flying spaghetti monster knows I hope you're right, but it's difficult to have hope when you are presented with the sheer, willful stupidity of sub-humans like FoxRacinf4. It pains me to say it, but I have all but given up hope for the world, but at least it'll be interesting to watch it end.

  • @davis military men of honor take things seriously thus why he got so angry. You are a far left disrespectful person whom i cant stand.

  • Sorry, I'm not really that creative :/ I wish I could do that but I'm also sort of a wuss. Give me an idea and some liquid courage and I'll definitely do it, my class already hates me anyway.

    Woo for high school.

  • The empire is self destructing. Perhaps it's too late. Maybe people need to reorganize and use their own 'self determination' as the old paradigms become irrelevant.

  • I don't agree with disrupting a graduation ceremony.

  • @foxracingf4 Youve gotta love these libs eh? What wackos some of them are such as davis here. The only reason im suscribed still is to keep an eye out. Seriously go watch some of his most recent vids and see how (too) far hes really gone

  • @BudSoda02 Go back to your Nascar & UFC you hick & stop trolling Davis! I'm half expecting you to retort with, "you got a purty mouth!"

  • "The Collapse of Empire" wouldn't be so bad. The world would be a much better place when it comes to pass.

  • @FoxRacinf4 wow good to know the army teaches discipline and integrity . P.S. your a cancer on the tumor that is the military, and I support the troops!

  • @FoxRacinf4 Two tours to Afghanistan and only 19 years old. Wow???

    LOL!!!!

  • @FoxRacinf4

Way to be the shining example of the oh so positive view on servicemen around the globe.

  • @FoxRacinf4 Ha ha. You'll rip Davisfleetwood's throat out if you see ANYONE disrespect your fellow soldiers?! So any random person could say, perhaps, "you & your 'fellow soldiers' are nothing but mindless drones being used by a government that hates you" & you'd still go after Davis? You're not the brightest of characters are you?! I'm against war & loss of life, but in your case I doubt you'd contribute anything positive to society anyway, so maybe you should get yourself blown up!

  • @FoxRacinf4

Did you kill anyone over there, or do you only threaten to kill politically dissident Americans? Isn't it wonderful when a government gives you permission to kill other people? The most evil act that one human can commit against another human, being condoned by an authority who would throw you in a cage for being inhuman under any other circumstances... Congratulations on being a politically sanctioned killer... We are all so proud of what you have achieved.

  • @FoxRacinf4 I would like to ask a question here... What's more important: a piece of paper (diploma/certificate/medal) or saving a person's life?

Bonus: IF a solution could be found peacefully, WOULD you support that over war?

  • @hulk12078

    1) Most important is the diploma/certificate/medal. This would prove that you can save MANY lives by teaching them to feed themselves - thus crime goes down!

    2) Peaceful solution - all depends, what the fight is over (really) and who make the most profit! EIther way - whatever the strongest THINKS - will be the answer!

  • @FoxRacinf4

Hey, congrats for volunteering for something unimportant. Glad you're proud.

  • @FoxRacinf4 You're proud to say that you killed people for oil? For liquified dinosaur bones, you are proud to have ended lives prematurely and viciously? Yeah, that's something to be proud. /sarcasm

  • @FoxRacinf4

Would that happen to be Recon Plt 2/2 Inf?

Also, the only disrespect that has been shown so far is your own blatant disrespect for the use of freedoms you have claimed to have protected. That is the freedom of speech, and assembly.

You are a disgrace to yourself, and your brothers in arms.

  • I blame indoor plumbing

  • The question comes down to whether you care or not if you ask me...and if you care, let THAT be the thing that moves you (with thoughtfulness, creativity and without hypocrisy -i.e. being violent to prevent violence doesn't make much sense) to action. If you really care, the thinking will follow and then the actions will follow the thoughts... Good luck - like it or not, its up to you to save it now - as us older folks are heading toward irrelevance and death - such is the circle of life.

  • I'll graduate in three years. We'll see what happens then.

  • @oexnorth Well, hey. No one said you had to wait. If you want to do something to bring about change for the better, do it now before it's possibly too late.

  • I agree with you, class of 2010 must do something now. I'll be getting my B.A. in 2012, and by then if we haven't changed the course we're on now we'll probably be bombing Iran. So please class of 2010, do what you can as soon as you can. I don't want to have to protest a third war (assuming we're not counting Pakistan, in which case it would be four) on my graduation day.

  • They have no power. We have no power. Freedom is an illusion, an effective one at that. Sure, we can go out and protest. How far have you gotten because of that protesting in three years or so? I can relate to your wishes, and even support them. I find it interesting that you state that students are used to taking orders, then subsequently giving them one. Though I suppose you could call it advice.

I'll take my own approach. Though I do so love (anti)disestablishmentarianism.

  • what can i do? i am just one person!

  • Well, that's a question that deserves an answer. Here's my take on it: First and foremost, everyone is just one person -and that is how it aIl begins. Individual responsibility for your own attitudes and motivation is where it's at It doesn't make any difference what everyone else or society is doing, because at a personal level, It all comes down to the individual and your own choices. Collectively we won't ever accomplish much of anything, unless we first have integrity as individuals.

  • @Serjhey Choose to be "one person." (That's all we can be.) And don't choose to NOT be.

  • awsome idea i would do it however i wont for t3 reasons 1. im a coward and i can't ruin one of the greatest days of many of my friends lives to get out of my hell of school. 2. they'd hold onto my diploma and wouldn't give it to me 3. i have a friend who's already planning on doing it xD

  • THIS IS A GREAT IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish this would go down nation wide!!!!!

Davis rocks thanks for being a voice against the WARS!!!

  • I'm class of 2010, but in Britain, so I don't think this applies to me :P

  • @Thicite Well, we've got Labour and the Tories now, so the worst of both worlds :D

  • Bravo

  • As a member of class 2010, I say, fuck the government as it is now.

  • Oh, I can't but help laugh... But the honesty is just too much, too brutal, but delectable and quite delicious. The philosophical and intellectual diversion mixed with the sweet Aspartame of a not so pleasant reality, begs to question how the upcoming class of 2010 will point their finger at us. The spirit of the hippy Nation says fight the establisment.

  • Well, its eaiser said then done man, look at it, we did protested and they didnt give a shit about it. We can complain about the war as much as we want if we want, even if we get all the citizens behind it to protest the war the government wont give a fuck. They cant stop a war, because the memories of Vietnam is still haunting the US and they do not want to do that again. We are stuck in a forever war,.

  • lol man i'm not sure why i watch your video's, maybe because i get akick out of them a good laugh if you will...

but really the history of man has been and is writen in our own blood (sadly enough).

and i really don't see that changing in the next 10,000 years or so.

but plz keep trying what the hell could it hurt.

  • neofeudalism lol

  • what kind of dance genre is that anyway :D

  • its not that people dont have the balls for this (a lot dont) but if a single person went out to protest during such a ceremony, they would be arrested immediately.

doing such a thing in groups is hard to organize, because not everyone is down for the cause, plus if you do organize such an event it would count as terrorism (federal time)

    its a shit system

  • I love Kucinich, he is the man.

  • greatness

  • Great video

  • Indeed, DF; we've tried, we cared... and still do. As Yitzak Rabin found out at his dramatic and mortal end: you can have a million fans - it only takes one enemy to undo all of it. But that's the way of the world.

  • Unite the C.H.A.O.S. - Display your Heart of Peace...

    It will work...

  • Oh & great post, btw.

  • It's not just the politicians, but those who empowered them!! (us).

  • great video as usual

  • You're a good man, Davis Fleetwood.

  • VERY good question at the end.

  • cool, im 1st :D protesting in ireland wouldnt work very well i'd say...
