  • Madam Zogbe, (I'm probably not saying it correctly) said that after the cameras were turned off the Haitians were being treated cruely. She said that in order for them to receive water and basic care the workers were instructed to make them convert before helping them. I was shocked. I was think, what does their religion have to do with getting aid. Well the Vatican and elitist are striking everyone who are not christian. They've attacked the Buddist Monks, Indonesia, and Haiti, it's a shame.

  • you have covered alot of areas there. the first being New Orleans when the hurricane Katrina struck and amount of damage that it did and the levys bursting. I watch over here in the UK and felt helpless. And the help that bo our govenment and some other were turned down by the then bush administration still make me feel angry. I guess today thing have got better, but i have seen some picture that still show that there is a lot still to do.

  • I love what your doing

    Hugs and Kisses!!

And I miss you SO MUCH!!!

    Love,

    Tya

  • You bring up valid points. I too share a similar perspective on the entire however. However, I'm glad that the whole world turned the attention to Haiti but very unimpressed with the celebs (some not all) who used this situations to sell units. Then go right back to being concerned with fashion.

  • I agree ...i donated $1 cause like you said this was something that was preventable by THEIR government and now i heard we are going to invest 600 million or something like that.....we have homeless and we have kids here need help....GURL you are preaching mama..i'm a humanitarian but damn.....

  • dear chanel, iam from the little tropical country call Haiti and i just would like to thank everyone for their support and those who are donating for propaganda they know who they are, and when they sleep at night im sure they lay there and feel the guilt .

  • great points ms. chanel and i agree with you! why do they jump to help when there is something tragic, they could've been helping the whole damn time. but also they act like ppl aren't hurting and struggling here.

  • where u at darlin missin ya

  • There is another video coming today

  • You guys are seeing the picture without thinking into the picture and beyond. The USA helps Haiti 1 because it is geographically along with the dominican republic and strategic place 2 because if Haiti continues fucked like it is it will carry consequences for the United States like future diseases and illegal immigrants so it is better to help them out for good this time so that in the future they can keep it on by themselves 3 USA is a potency because other countries are in debt with the USA

  • I see your point here Chanel. Yet at the same time, people will always have a hidden agenda. There's no such thing as a selfless good deed. Yet in any event, people are people and people needed help in Haiti. We do have some issues in our own backyard, however that doesnt mean we should turn and look the other way.

  • I agree.

  • 1. I live for this hair #pow

    2. What it takes to donate to do a concert is a big thing! You preached that thing!

    3. THANK YOU AMERICA STILL has ISSUES WE ain't solved! We helping others and we not helping our selves!

  • Well The question is?????if that happened to us .....Would HATI HELP US???? The Us is already F ***ed up we cant afford bailing out anyone else! WE NEED HELP TO CANT SOMEONE HELP THE US?

  • We don't compare to Haiti. The us has more resource. This is not the time to sell out...If you are not genuine than don't send it. stop the bickering

  • i know people from Haiti so why not donate if u can to reputable organizations? Haiti was founded by slaves who freed themselves from their slave owners so the world should help them more so they don't have to live so poorly or help them relocate to a place not built on a major fault line

  • Great Video, now who were u looking at around the end of he video?

    One Luv

    Pat (5 of them thangz)

  • that was priceless wasn't it.. lol somebody made ms chanel giddy like a school girl!

  • i initially was lil standoffish about donating because you know Haiti is not a gay friendly place so it hard for me to sympathize with a country like that. Uganda is another example...but then , i had to think about the innocent kid or allies that were lost and misplace so i donated some time after

  • You are absolutely right. It became a new religion to present oneself as a good person and showing and talking about it in public without end. Also from people who are far away from being or becoming famous. Everbody wants it's Hollywood. But thats brain murdering. Hugs. MIMMM

  • The Disrepect from the Banks and Corporate America to the President and We the People is Embarrassing! Because We all have to stand together United.

  • It doesn't take rose colored glasses to see that working-class America is in trouble. I feel for the Disaster and I sent my Money to the Red Cross. I see more and more people riding bicyles to work every month and I live in a straight up UPPER UPPER MIDDLE CLASS AREA. (PS:I"M NOT) People are stealing more in the stores esp. Food! Teenagers and college students are living at home! Apartments are lowering their security payments just to get clients.

  • @ladyrose01z

Those people riding bicycles are doing it for their health or the enviornment. I'm also betting they are lower tier people in the service economy. They are semi-skilled but not skilled workers.

In Europe and in most places around the world, people live with their parents into their mid to late twenties.

  • Wow me and my family was having the same coversation that your having in the video.I'm not saying it bad that they do.but were still in America still struggling in this recession.

  • @rudebwoi7285

I hate to say it but the U.S. government's role isn't necessarily to help you get a job or improve your financial situation.

They want you to buy more stuff. That's it.

  • I think helping the ppl in Haiti is the right thing 2 do that is a natural diaster and poverty here is more of a man made type of thing..yes we need to help both but I think they are different

  • I agree with you Miss Chanel 100%.

  • I do agree that it old the world ignores a fixable problem to save money then when it all goes wrong we pay for it in lives. As far as telethons goes people will donate more money for a face they know ( famous ppl). A lot of people said they were worried about fraud. Yeah no doubt America has a lot of problems most are self caused but we will chat when you make a tube about it

  • i'm glad someone else verbalized my confusion with all these celebrities and talking heads having all sorts of separate charities.

  • This is an excellent vid Mutha, this whole Haiti thing has me so numb that I just can't talk about it, but I did donate money.

  • I stand with you Chanel. I never have had an appropriate answer when someone asks why we don't we help the homeless person down our own block and yet we'll come together to help people in distant lands. I do agree that we should help others but I am not sure why we don't help our own at least on an equal dollar for dollar basis.

I look forward to hearing what your viewers say on this. And looking forward to the series!!

    ~Calvin~

  • @treo700w thanks for your love and support keep watching and be blessed

  • 1) Find a better way to get more page hits, than bothering people.

    2) If you had no interest in the Haiti discussion, why click on a video that says "Let's talk Haiti"

3)Take some classes on how to be a productive human being.

4)What's up with the ignorant comments?

Keep doing what you do tssexychanel........the Haiti situation is horrible. As always I keep them in my prayers!!!!!! :-(

  • thanks so much for your kind words and that bit of reality you just dosed out to him that gave me the chuckle of the day.

  • Lol.......no prob. My mama always told me that u don't have to curse a person out to prove a point.....when you cut them down with class and intellegence they have NO comeback. Lmao
