Besides Madonna not being beautiful( she used to be anyways), this is pretty much true of Madonna. She is very creative, but to be honest her voice isn't that great, and you can tell this do to the fact that she started off as a dancer and then got into singing, she did not grow up around and living music, and was not classically trained. Madonna is a talented dancer and has a creative aspect but thats as far as I would go. I think her biggest admiration is inspiring artist like Lady GaGa.

Besides Madonna not being beautiful( she used to be anyways), this is pretty much true of Madonna. She is very creative, but to be honest her voice isn't that great, and you can tell this do to the fact that she started off as a dancer and then got into singing, she did not grow up around and living music, and was not classically trained. Madonna is a talented dancer and has a creative aspect but thats as far as I would go. I think her biggest admiration is inspiring artist like Lady GaGa.

@beautifulday01 I hate to get involved in this but... if you really look at it, Madonna did follow Prince's lead in the 80's... where Prince copied other artists before him and so it goes. The record company artist dev have also got a HUGE part in assuring that each of their top tier "artists" are given the highest of creative support. Even Prince at the time had rec/label support, all of this unseen by the general public. Thus, you have the ILLUSION that she or whomever is highly creative.

@carrie6358 funny yes..she laughs at herself or her own jokes and she has a way at making pple laugh at her antics..but sweet..ermm..seriously...a person who swears so much cant really be dat sweet of a person (her early days) and well...some celebrities are seen as sweet from their interviews/songs or just the way they carry themselves when not on stage or work like beyonce.,mandy moore.But MADONNA= SWEET??? think again.don't get me wrong.i love her songs..esp her earlier 1s.I'll kp it to dat.

After watching the video again, I do see that Cher wasn't exactly that "diplomatic" when it came to Madonna here. Hahaha! I wish I knew what Cher had seen of her before this. LOL, maybe it was the Letterman interview.

Looking at the interview here, Madonna is obviously in her very young, gonna make a name for myself, get noticed, in your face stage of being. I am close to Madonna's age, I remember. And it's been FASCINATING to watch her evolve through the years. I think NOW Cher and she could have a great friendship. It's humerous to see now Madonna being asked the same Q's about Lady Gaga. All three of them are great artists and people.

Madonna, when she was younger was "in your face" about EVERYTHING. She LOVED to provoke, didn't mind humiliating. Figured it was YOUR job to toughen up. Watch the early interview with David Letterman on here and you'll see what I'm saying. That is what Cher meant by "I find her rude".
Cher will "tell it too you straight" but tries to be diplomatic. Because Cher tends to fight for anyone she sees "as the underdog", if she most likely found Madonna's style horrifying, lol.

Madonna took it to the next level with her career she really change the game why do you think artist after her are influenced including GAGA. I think Cher doesn't like Madonna cause they're A LOT alike. They both are icons and they both SAY WHAT THEY FEEL! Cher doesn't like when Madonna does it, but CHER does it ALL THE TIME! I LOVE BOTH & For the same reason. They are both POWERFUL women.
