there is a Q on the engine, and it's mounted inside the left side of the front bumper. some engineers/captains (who ever is controlling the Q) don't feel the need to hit the Q when starting their response and going onto an empty street.

It was all good until the R/A turned on that terrible electronic "Atari" siren. Bummer.

I agree, the Engine had a Unitrol siren. The R/A had a cheesey Whelen siren. The cost difference, the Unitrol is about $100 more.
