He made trips to the front to review his soldiers. He also served in the great war, for all 4 years, and won 2 iron crosses for bravery. He saw combat first hand. Hitler was no coward.

Before you have certainty about what Adolf Hitler did, or planned to do, you might want to look at the Kateen massacre in Poland during WWII. In that case the Russians killed thousands of Polish officers as part of Stalin's plans to conquer Europe. For a long time this was blamed on the Germans! Any information coming from Russian sources should be verified. Unfortunately, I suspect this is also true of British and American sources, as they also have a track record of lying.
