@Titanicgeographic The biggest bomb was the Soviet Tzar Bomba. It was airdropped and exploded with a yield of 50 megatons. The design was 100 megatons but they dialed it back because the plane would not be able to get out of the way of the blast and would thus kill the plane and crew at full yield.

@D0irche there is no such thing as a mark 39... the highest number in the "mark" family of nuclear bombs was the mark 36, which i think is what your thinking of... im probably mistaken about the BLU-82... but i can see how it looks similar... its definitely a mark 36... if this is in fact... a real nuclear bombing run / test with the steps in order... (BLU-82 is not a nuclear weapon)... i thought it was a video complication someone made with different clips... my mistake

@stoopidoooo it's Thermo-nuclear... it needs an "atomic bomb" as a primary - to set it off then from the atomic bomb explosion nuclear fusion creates hydrogen which is then exploded.
An H-Bomb is far more powerful than an Atom bomb but I dont knmow the exacts (the diameter, of a H-Bomb is about a mile, I think but I'm not sure - I'd love to hear from anyone lese who could specify this).
