The United States has a responsiblity to all those people in Iraq who trusted and supported us. How quickly do people forget the tragic lessons learned from the closing of the Vietnam war? Everyone on our side was slaughtered; everyone from politicians, schoolteachers, police, etc...
The United States created the situation in Iraq and now we need to see it through. The time to argue about this was before we committed troops. It's too late now, we finish the job or condemn all those people.
Hey Mr President bring home our Troops now and give them a great parade, award all of them for a job well down and give them 3 months off. When they report back for duty gie them 2 months training to how to seal or borders with Homeland Security and catch illegals at our borders both north and south of the U.S.A.. Make it their tour of duty and rotate other units every 6 months...this will stop anyone from crossing our borders for good.
Fuck Iraq we need to leave, and if Iraqis start to lose their country then it is totally on the Iraqi people. Our troops have earned a victory in Iraq
Iraq belongs to Iraqis, and they want Americans out, they want to run their own country. Now that Americans are pulling out of Iraqi cities, Iraqis are happy and holding street celebrations. That's the only thing that's matter.
This video shows really misses the point in many ways . . . its not that relevant what people in the US think, what's really relevant is what people in Iraq think. Denying at this late stage that there is a fair representation of the situation there, and that the ideas propagated by the Bush admin are not seeped in distortions, is fairly naive. Many interviewed seemed to believe that the troops where withdrawing from Iraq, while really they are withdrawing from Iraqi cities.

Does what Americans think even matter?
