maybe jgl is gonna have his parents killed in the gotham rogues game then eight years later becomes robin because the dark knight rises is eight years after the dark knight
Well idk I think there is a possibility considering what I heard in this video...plus in the 2nd trailer the r in the Gotham rouges is a robin r...also bale was going to drop out if there was a robin so maby he takes his place
@GigaZerosonic I've got a feeling that that's another thing Nolan has used to trick us, he could easily have told Bale to say those things so that we'd get thrown off the idea again, if so; Nolan's a clever boy ;)
I also believe in a robin being in this film but I wouldn't make him all grown up. that kind of defeats the purpose of the duo. If he is grown up with a job and everything it feels to me that he's already been through his child life and isn't really with batman. He'd be more of a solo act in my eyes than anything else. don't think of this as hatin', I love the idea of Robin!
@fireball8987 lol I know, but the show is based off a comic book called "Young Justice" in which Robin was Tim Drake. So in the show it should really be Tim Drake that is Robin, not Dick Grayson.
@superherofan21 when? he came from the circus, and after his parents died, he was adopted but bruce, and eventually became robin....when the hell was he a cop?
@BatmanWTSOG Oh shit, I did not know that (obviously). But I dont think Nolan would make Dick a cop first. Im sure if he was going to do it, he'd do it the right way.
Now that I think about it, it doesn't feel like a bad idea at all! If done right, and done by Nolan, Grayson could bring a little colour to the plot - in the positive sense. I have been thinking about could Levitt actually play the role of Dick Grayson, (he could even be a cop in the movies in my opinion), but I don't know about him actually becoming Robin, wearing cape and mask.. The film could end in a situation where Batman starts training Grayson and Bruce making him his heir?
@Valkoinenkoira Yeah, I also don't believe he would appear in costume, but maybe hint at him gaining one by the end of the next film. If he did end up wearing the costume I believe the edition of a hood, like Arkham City's Robin, would help him hide his identity. Catwoman only has a mask in the film, not a full cowl, so I think it could work for Robin as well.
@BatmanWTSOG Yeah, I agree. Grayson could have a connection to Alfred, too. If his parents were killed during Waynes early years studying out of the country, Alfred could have sympathized the poor fellow, keep in touch with him and help him financially so he could go to police acatemy if he would really be a cop in the film. Grayson then would at first want to catch Batman, he being wanted as being a cop killer, maybe even learn his secret identity through the connection with Alfred. :)
@BatmanWTSOG Another reason to why a full Robin-costume would be lame lies in Waynetech. Bane and the bad guys have Tumblers, there’s Catwoman driving a Batpod, wearing goggles that look like they were made by Waynetech.. If we had a twenty-year-old guy jumping around the city in a billion dollar Waynetech bodyarmor then volá – Circus is in town! I mean, what’s with Wayne industries, do they have a hole in the wall? :D
@Valkoinenkoira And the fact that it's where Batman gets his gadgets you'd think he'd be more careful about it's security! I guess it is a young Batman so he still has a few things to learn. lol!
Now that I think about it, it doesn't sound like a bad idea at all! Done by Nolan, and done right, Dick Grayson could make an awesome character in the film and shed a little colour on the plot. Already before this youtubevideo I was wondering if Levitt would play Grayson in the film and the John Blake -thing would be only a smokescreen, but I dont know about the twist of him actually becoming Robin in the film.. Might do some fighting, could even get some batgadget to use in the end but -
i highley doubt this is true because Nolan is keeping the film ssecret, even the main stars don't know the ending yet, so then why would a crew member tell a random strangers spoilers.
@MovieFestival96 I've taken it with a grain of salt as well, but other signs do point to Robin possibly being in it. Also it's true that no one knows the ending, but crew members have also revealed tidbits about Catwoman, Bane, etc before the info was released that turned out to be true. The ending is unknown, but crew members working on the film do know other stuff since they are working on the film that we don't know!
