  • I didn't follow what the 7 layers exactly are...mind if you list them? I'm planning to make this.

  • great experiment!! but... I couldn't follow which liquids you have put.

could you kindly write them down

    ??

  • Can you please explain to me what the 7 layers are(in order)

  • OHMYFFFGOD Why can't I do this u____u''

  • steve could we try this on soda ?

  • @MrPoopstain98. Yes i believe so

  • Some liquids are light are some are heavy, you just need to arrange. Put the heavier liquid at the bottom while the lighter one is on top. I dunno what liquids u can use, but i only know e.g. water and oil.

  • What was he using, and if i shook it up would it go bak to layers

  • Nice Dutch flag there.

  • can anybody tell me whats the material for this please!

  • Mr. Steve, My friend and I have to do this for a science expirement, but we cannot use alchohol or explosives. Do you have any suggestions? Also, what could we use instead of molasses? Would syrup work? Thank you!!

    Crazed Author and Zodiac840.

  • BUT, will it blend

  • BUT, will it blend? 0-0

  • my =brother jk

  • 1:34 reminds me of France

  • How bout lighting the lamp oil up so its a burning density layer

  • If you mix them all up together, and then let it sit, will it eventually seperate?

  • @danielcarmi305 yes, it will. We did this with pouring in vegetable oil FIRST, then water, then Karo syrup last (or just corn syrup, any brand.) The Karo went to the bottom and the oil went to the top.

  • >> 1:35 <<

Hm, Drink for the COPS? :D

  • but will it blend?

  • Kindof looks like a rocket pop :)

  • OMG JUST LOOK AT THAT!!!

  • i did that with jello. it was sooooooo good :)

  • How about dropping in some objects of various density: packing foam, ball bearing, buttered popcorn, ivory soap, glitter, and maybe a bowling ball.

  • We did this in school :D

  • What a dork! He tells the reporter to not get it on the side of the glass, so first thing he gets it on the side... The Steve says good job, perfect.. like hes talking to a 6 year old! What a bunch of phony BS.

  • DO IT WITH THE GLOW LIGHT WATER :O

  • @gleekgurl2430 You can just take something and than use food coloring

  • The question is not, will it blend?

  • Dear Steve Spangler,

What will happen when you have made the density and you put coca cola really fast?

  • he uses PURPLE

  • CIOOOOL

  • What liquids did you use for the demo

  • Mr. Steve please may i know what material did you use for that demo ?

I'm asking this because my partner is about to demonstrate about density ..

    Thank you!

  • How does this taste? :O

  • he made the french flag (:

  • you could hold a spoon really close to the surface of the liquid and pour the next liquid first on the spoon, and from there onto the liquid, that's how bartenders make layered drinks

  • Mr.steve what will happen when u shake the 7 layers? will the layers separate out over time?

  • Mr. Steve what will happen to the experiment when you pour another but the same liquid? will it remain on top or pass other color so it could get to its same liquid?Thank U :)

  • @GlenTenHolt eventually the liquids would separate!

  • @Stevespanglerscience wat if i dont have honey or molasses wat other liquid i will put 1st

  • @Stevespanglerscience wat is the replacement of HONEY

  • What would happen if you shook it up? would they seperate again?

  • Dear Steve,

I was wondering if you could use some of your "True Colors" tablets to color the water, rubbing alcohol, etc.

My parent's have decided to never buy me food coloring again (Let's just say there were some big messes.)

I also think those tablets are pretty cool ^_^

  • @panpap12345 that would definitely work.

  • What about mineral oil and glycerin?

  • now drink it

  • if you throw them all in together, will the seperate out over time?

  • @chap6595 yes they will over time

  • @chap6595 not sure but sounds fun!

  • If i put Maple Syrup instead of Corn Syrup what would happen?

  • You can do this with water and sugar.

  • The Last part when he says: " SO" and then it cuts off

  • If you mixed them up well, would they re separate?

  • @TrAnMu

yes, but the colors might mix

  • Lamp oil, rope, bombs?

  • 8th layer: mercury.

  • this was so cool

  • What was the top layer?

  • @Robberbaron15 lamp oil

  • wow!

  • Does anyone else agree here that the news announcer sounds just like Alex Trebek from Jeopardy?

  • @powercord426 i know lol

  • Amazing !!

  • From your website I am going to buy baby soda bottles and the instant snow :) those look awsome

  • he made the dutch flag =D

  • @whoeveriam0iam14222 dutch flag is black , yellow and red . not blue , white and red ( that's the french flag !!)

  • @angiechelcyjade thats german (i think so)

  • @angiechelcyjade No, the Dutch flag is (from bottom to top) blue, white, red, arranged with horizontal stripes. The French flag has vertical stripes.

  • @whoeveriam0iam14222 Actually, it's red, white, and blue for the American flag.

  • awesome!

  • AAHHHH!!!!!1 i hate how that old guy always says,"OH FOR HEAVENS SAKE!" its so freakin annoying!!!
