Mr. Frankin is running for the U.S. Senate in MN because he wants to change the status-quo. Al wants to be more involved thus he's seeking public office.

Al's interests are those of the average working citizens, NOT special interests (big oil, pharmaceautical companies, etc... like Norm Coleman's).

Do some research on Al & I think you'll like what you find.

He's much more than a comedian; he's truly an intellectual who has this countries interests at heart.

Look what conservatives have done over the years (huge annual,Federal & trade defecits,weakened enviromental laws, etc).We have roughly a $350 billion a year trade defecit with China alone.China is selling weapons to Iran that are being used to kill our troops in Iraq.Also,liberals are not weak on defense as conservatives have portrayed them to be;they just don't believe in unilaterally invading countries that aren't an iminent threat to the U.S.Liberals believe in fair trade; unlike Bush.

More jobs have been outsourced under the Bush administration than any other.Our trade defecit is between $800 billion - $1 trillion dollars. Tax cuts for virtually only the top 1-2% of wealthiest americans (& corporate America). They don't reinvest that money back into the U.S. even when they're already making billions here;they outsurce the jobs simply out of greed;so they can pay people 5-10 cents per hour with no benefits,safety,environmental oversight,etc.whatsever.Now that IS un-American.

The U.S. Federal defecit is over $10 billion now & increasing rapidly.Because of this the Bush admin. has to sell high interest bonds each fiscal year just to keep our country running. The top 3 buyers of these bonds are China,Japan & Saudia Arabia.That alone is a serious national security issue. Conservatives have never been fiscally responsible;they're simply on the verge of making this a second rate country. Our children & theirs will suffer tremendously because of the ineptitude of the Bush.

To put our Federal defecit in better perspective I'm going to compare it to a light-year (the distance that light travels in a vacuum in 1 year). A light year is 5.88 trillion miles away & you would have to live to be approximately (if not exactly)184 yrs. old to count to 5.88 trillion in 1 second intervals (or even if you used a stop watch). Thus you'd have to live to 368 yrs. of age to count in 1 second intervals just to reach our CURRENT Federal defecit.

Excuse me, I MEANT to type over $10 trillion now (on my last post), as far as our Federal defecit is concerned. That's the equivalent of stacking $10 bills (lying flatly on each other) that would reach to the moon & back to earth; litterally!!! That's a fact. $38-$40 thousand dllars for every man, woman & child in the U.S. now (all 290-300 million of us).
