Regarding the book Kanz al-`Ummâl, if the questioner is asking if all hadîth mentioned in this book are authentic, then I would have to say: Definately not. The book is full of weak and false hadîth.

The reality is, there is entirely too much evidence, based on both physical and historical , to not support the possibility of something other than (church manufactured) Biblical history.
True Christianity, the way Christ lived it, should not and can not be dis proven by these new findings. If ones entire faith is held in place by one single act, (the resurrection) then you have never really been a Christian in the first place.

The whole thing is a scam created by Noel Corbu to get people to visit his hotel/restaurant. The priory is quite a way from the main road on the sort of road that after a few minutes drive you would turn back and go elsewhere. Once he started the lie (as printed in the La Depeche de Midi in 1956) it beget another lie then another to keep people interested in going there and in turn using his restaurant.
The film is good but watch the body language of some of the people.

you make a good point about Corbu who was indeed trying to sell rooms 'using' the sauniere mystery. but how do the discoveries made some 50 odd years AFTER Corbu's death, including the tomb be anything to do with him? I think the film really is onto something. the question is what?

what is amazing is that all the alleged 'relics' have checked out so far with the experts. The dating matches perfectly with the claims made in the movie. This may not be Mary Magdeline, but it certainly appears to be an important figure connected to the Knights Templar or another aristocratic psuedo-church secrety society. Either that, or this is the biggest hoax ever, including the role of the French government. The question then.. is why?

I know this is out there too but I believe that there is not actual "heaven or hell"...i think when we die, we will relive our "hell" (basically reliving every bad thing we ever done in our lifetime) and then live forever in paradise which will be "heaven on earth" one day...just my opinion...something to think about...
