  • wtf? 100% doors sound!

  • Very good. The vocalist sounds a lot like Jim Morrison.

  • Comment removed

  • the doors style very good

  • he isn't jim morrison

  • jim morrison died 5 years befor the album led zepelin IV came out so it cant be jim morrison

and look what the maker of the video said

From the early 90's Australian TV show The Money Or The Gun by The Beatnix, Australian Beatles Tribute Band.

[btw: i reply your massage cuz your right

  • you mean 5 days..

  • @RoMisSoCool ,

Jim Morrison died in 1971, the Year LZ IV was released.

  • @arjunavalli Derp.

  • Gazooblebork, this is the wrong video description. It's not the Beatnix (Beatles imitators) but Doors imitators doing the song in a Doors style.

  • Wow - is that really you Stevie?? Amazing and I'm glad I got to see this xox

  • I only clicked this because your channel name is 'gazooblebork'.

  • In the early 90s a comp of "Stairway to Heaven" covers called "Stairways to Heaven" came out. Being an Aussie compilation, it featured Rolf Harris doing a digeridoo'ed-up comedy folk interpretation of the song. Also featured was this, The Australian Doors Show's, cover of the tune.

Australia seemed to have a number of tribute groups during the early 90s; for example, Bjorn Again was an Australian ABBA homage group.

Never thought I'd see this, so thanks for posting. :-)

  • Of course its not the doors. Jim Morrison carked it well before this show came about! It the Australian Doors Show. A tribute band.

  • hammond organ just sound soooo great

  • this song is better played by led zeppelin and in this video they aren't The Doors!!

  • whata'n interesting discovery... did you get that all by yourself? wow.. man... wow...

  • ZOMG!! With brains like yours learning how to use the computer was quite an achievement! Congratulations.

  • sounds cool, but it`s yust not real.

    stupid concept,

  • benlos, yah I don't know if we're thinking along the same lines but... I thought they did a great job as Jim Morrison and The Doors. and STH in the Doors' fashion was good IMHO. the only negative I find in this is that JM's legendary and enjoyable low drawl changes to passionate howls which is fine of course, but that would have better suited Jim's own enigmatic poetic prowess. this performance of Stairway's lyrics was lackluster and devoid of meaning for me.

  • even though the singer is trying so hard to be morrison his face looks like robby krieger

  • had fun with the colour changing thingy on this one

  • haha trust the doors to do a sick cover

  • not the doors

  • what do you mean? the band is The Doors doing a cover of Stairway to Heaven?

  • its a tribute band called the "Beatrix', the music/footage is the not The Doors.

  • Even though it's adobted to one of their songs but it's still a cover I think

  • yeah sorry after not drinking a few drink its not the doors :D. Still even sober quite close

  • geniaaaaaaaaal!!!!!

    Me estremecedor, muy sorprendente!

  • these guys are great i want to hear more of them

  • Good to see the boys immortalised on Utube..go Les, H, Cabbage, Happiness.

    U rock!

  • My best friends is a dedicated DOORS fan and I spoofed him with this unique performance which he truly thougth was the DOORS until I pointed that the song was released 4 months after Morrisons death :-) But he still think it is amazing.

  • Glek sprui o tol benli kahr. Tolli Benlis KAHR!

  • Just like when the Beatniks did this same song....and made it fit the style....so do these guys make it fit the Doors style perfectly. AWESOME....very well done!!! A good song....is a good song no matter who does it!!

  • The drummer's hot! hehhe!

  • This is not the Beatnix, it is the Australian Doors Show. Every week the show The Money Or The Gun would bring in a tribute band to do this in the style of their band.

  • Obviously it's based on 'When The Music's Over', but it's still very impressive.

  • These guys really make the song sound like a Doors song. Amazing!

  • Fucking awesome!

  • Ma è troppo na figata sta versione...

  • Jim would be proud!
