Hellooooo! there was no culture to be mentioned in the west at ALL , that's why it was called " the dark ages" when Islam showed up and brought enlightenment to the world as muslims r recommended to read and learn , to think and meditate ,therefore there were some great scientists such as Gaber Ibn Hayyan and Ibn Sina

brother these verses are rite but the thing u dont understand is that the time these verces were sent it was for those people at that time when muslims were being killed and at that time it was said that fight in the name of ALLAH ....quran it talks about plenty of things but to understand that u have to ask someone who knows islam then u,ll find out that the translation which meant something else before now it means tottally different because some of arabic words have hundereds of meanings
