sure i like something new and fresh...but when you take defining aspects out of a song it kinda makes the song a little more bland and generic.

it would be different if they changed it up a little bit (different syncopation, different rhythms, maybe a few added or detracted notes), but they just get rid of it all together...which not only spits in the face of the original creator but kinda makes the song seem more generic ironically.
