  • you are beautiful and have a beautiful voice too!

  • Love it!

  • @orson. I was reading your comment and Billy's voice could not help but read it for me in my head.

  • @rubiataradaa - it's a simple progression.

The verse goes C Dm Em F, and the chorus (I want to grow old with you) goes C G F C G, except for the second one where the last G is a chord I don't know the name of. It's played with the A string on the first fret and the G string on the third fret.

The bridge kind of bit (miss you, kiss you etc) is F C F G F. The ending is a repeat of the chorus.

    Hope that helps!

  • lovw your music, all of it... and btw the pig tails are cute

  • aw i love your style! =)

  • when I thought that I couldn't cry any harder in that scene with Adam Sandler.... You proved me wrong!

  • What about an Owl City song?

It's a bit hard to imagine how his songs would be like without the electronic sounds,

but the melodies and lyrics are dreamy/cute/lullaby-ish/off the charts awesome, which coincidentally can be used to describe your music as well :)

  • I wanna grow old with you too ^^

  • Good afternoon, everyone. We're flying at 26,000 feet, moving up to 30,000 feet, and we've got clear skies all the way to Las Vegas. Right now, we're bringing you some in-flight entertainment. One of our first class passengers would like to sing you a song inspired by one of our coach passengers. And since we let our first class passengers do, pretty much whatever they want, here he is...

  • I wanna grow old with her.

  • Moose pillow.

  • Too much of a good thing? Not when it's you Sophie. 8-)

  • How about singing a Nick Drake song, Sophie? Pink Moon or Northern Sky maybe?

    Thanks!

  • @thelostpiranha or One of These Things First. I think it's perfect for you.

  • Wonderful cover!

  • Adam Sandler is my favourite actor ever, and I hate it when other people try to cover his songs... but you, Miss Sophie, YOU can do anything you want with that beautiful voice of yours. I absolutely loved it :3 ♥ !

  • @CindyMadriz Adam Sandler didn't write that song.

  • @hoosierhiver Adam Sandler and Tim Herlihy wrote this song.

  • @AsianTomDotCom Then they should sue Westlife for putting it on their album.

  • @hoosierhiver No, I don't think they should. Westlife wrote "I Wanna Grow Old With You" this song is officially titled "Grow Old With You" on top of that, they sound completely different. Did you watch this video or just view the title?

  • @AsianTomDotCom Different style, but I think it's more or less the same song.

  • @hoosierhiver I'll clarify I guess, it sounds different and the lyrics are different. The only commonality they share is the words, "I wanna do is grow old with you". To say they are more or less the same song is like saying, "I love you" by Black Flag and Vanilla Ice song is more or less the same song. But it's not.

  • @AsianTomDotCom Thank you very much :)

  • @hoosierhiver As AsianTomDotCom just said: Adam Sandler and Tim Herlihy wrote the song.

  • first!!

    LOL, love it!!
