It is so weird looking at footage from the forties and fifties with people speaking frankly about marijuana use, I guess I just have it in my head that people were "innocent" back then and didn't talk about it, probably because I've been sheilded from that part of our history. Our parents want us to think it was a time when "that kind of thing" didn't happen but we know it was always like that :)

hmmm ive been surfing youtube fer all the "Yeas and Neas" what ive found /seen/heard really boils down to the fact that "WHITE" weed smokers were more tolerent,receptive to new ways of thinking,even religions of IMMIGRENTS/SLAVES/anyNON WHITE people and as a result the ruling government now has to "ABUSE,OPPRESS,DENY" in order to keep the "PROBLEM" people in line

I don't know why people are always crying legaize it. Sure its fun but the fact of the matter is people are a hell of alot more productive if their sober rather then stoned. When i smoke i cant cancentrate on shit. But if course there will be people to comment how they are better workers and can think more clearly. Bullshit

Some people do not prefer productiveness over their own liberty. What has all this "sober" productiveness led us to? To a completely materialistic thing-fetishistic society, where people are not even allowed to decide what they put into their own bodies. People who does not want to use Cannabis, should not do it. They have all the right in the world not to do it. But people who do want to smoke Cannabis, should have just as much right to do that.

They accomplished having a good time, and being good to their fellow people, What were they to do besides that? They did what they could when they could. Showed the world that you don't have to have a fancy education to enjoy your life. To enjoy life while you have it, and not fuck it up for everyone else with. Enjoying colors, thoughts, relationships and nature, instead of TV, Politics, Hollywood, and things.. Stinky ass bums? well, I guess you are the one who is ignorant

If you call "enjoying colors and thoughts" an accomplishment then go ahead and live like that. No one will stop you,but remember that when you die no one will ever give a shit becuase all you cared about was your freedom to get high and nothing about actually makeing the world better. You can help the world a lot more if you actually get an education and use it to fight global warming or stopping world hunger rather then smoking a joint saying it SHOULD happen. But i guess you just dont get it.

And if you should think that I am kidding, go ahead and laugh at me, but you will be the one who will be sorry in the end. Whatever has caused "global warming" it sure as hell cannot be reversed. I'm not saying we will all die, or anything. But there is something bigger behind "global warming". I think the world needs love, and peace, to make people come together and find solutions.

Look at what's going on right now. Wars, Economical breakdown, natural disasters, biospheric destruction, etc. You can't stop all that. It's all just a rat race for money, and competition. We need real human values, and one of the things that can make people realize their natural state of peace and love, in a nice mellow way, is Cannabis. But it depends on which way you use it, and how your mind is set.

Hemp has grown in the UK as far back as 425bc, Why do you think hempstead, Hempton court (original name) for Hampton, little hampton etc have the names they do? People grew their own personal crops, farmeras grew it for rope. Rastas smoke it as sacriment, the uk tithed it to the church too, its the original baptism by fire. it grew in the USA since at least 1776.

damn no... the cotton trade put hemp out! Wrong way round! 1939 hemp was the biggest cashcrop, cotton way down second. After it was marginalised by reefer maddness (1:30)because dupont wanted to chop down half the amazon to make paper and Rayon, eyc. Hustled thru congress when it was in recess in 47 seconds, Mellon. Hemp has been a global resource for so rope, paper, clothing, food, medicine and oil for 12,000 years. But you are right - greed is one of the reasons.
