Yeah, but take it out on Justin Bieber, or Lady Gaga, I think sub-pop is still promoting great indie bands. I agree, grunge era was fantastic, but if it still existed I wouldn't remember it so kindly and wouldn't bring as many good memories as it does, there's still great music is out there, just not mainstream for it's own protection; there are great musicians like mark kozelek or the guys of modest mouse

@Lazarustrousers Grunge was overrated to begin with... only a couple of bands from that genre had any lasting importance. Sorry to say. I'm a musician who began with punk and grunge by the way. We just need to be honest with ourselves and acknowledge the fact that the clock ticks on. Plenty of good music happening right now if you have the ears to hear.
