His voice was as strong at the end of his life as it was all through his entire career. How many records has he sold? I think at last count it was somewhere around a billion and a half , it may be more than that now. Has any performer even come close?

@urfever i saw elvis in buffalo in march or april of 72. great show great atmosphere. i took some pictures which security promptly took away from me. every corner of memorial auditorium people took pictures but i happen to do it when the officer passed by. rather than give it to him i exposed the film and tossed it on the floor.
