Been meaning to get into the ultralite scene. Just bought one of your Bios 2.2 about a day or two ago, anxiously awaiting it.
Anyway, about your "Joe" mix if you intend to make it yourself, I highly suggest dry mustard, celery seed and above all corn starch to thicken. Tell me how it goes.
You were talking about the powder not lasting long and moisture getting into it.
I know you already have a machine for sealing a pack and removing the air... but that obviously is not a good idea for the powder for storage.
I saw that Glad has a new hand pump freezer bag on sale. Maybe that would be the answer for you for keeping the powder dry... and maybe would be good for making up quick day packs of dry goods?
Just trying to help... oh and have a great day sir!
No, that's the unfortunate side effect of your delusion. You pathologically hate degreed individuals so much, you have called an Austrailian professor with a PhD a "Post Hole Digger" and "Piled High and Deeper" on your blog.
Tiny i saw your first video YEAR"S ago you we're upset about allot of reviewer's who we're using a product incorrectly wow you've gone nut's with your newer designs since then.
if someone want's a 200 dollar CAB a triple burner with pressured fuel delivery adjustable legs to adjust the boil time all mounted to a light weight aluminum base that can be leveled
also i know your a gram nazi but on a 1 or two day hike why not premeasure pouches of your favorite BBQ sauce?
Tinny, "...ROLLING PIN!" you crack me up. Quite a while ago, you had mentioned one of your long-term ideas/goals was to build a high-end ($200) CAB for hikers that needed the best. I've been holding out for one and was curious if that had taken shape yet. Thanks for your thoughts. I enjoy the brain-storming.
YOU are the reason that I have taken up hiking. I LOVE IT! I get lots of interest in my Paradigm. I always give you credit and turn them on to your channel and website.
Soooo, I have gotten out and hiked. I haven't taken a friend yet but, I always have a great day, when I go.
Thanks for keeping us up to date. Perhaps during your inverters block, you could share some more dehydration recopies.
Just a tip for something I used to do. I used to make up some taco/burrito meat so I could have 1 for a quick snack whenever I wanted.
What I did to proses the hamburger very fine was, cook it in whatever size chunks was easiest and then put in food possessor. not quite sand but smaller than gravel.
Tinny, you may think this is stupid based on the way you run your buissness and such, but what about a line of stove kits? Like where all the major machining and cutting is done, but the assembly is left for they buyer. junits15
Tinny, you're right about the folding spoon. I saw one in the store and laughed. The more you know about design, the more often you scratch your head and ask, "What were they thinking?"
Sometimes tho there's a good reason. I was talking to an engineer today who challenged me on something I designed a year ago & I couldn't remember why I did it that way. Later on, I remembered & it was a valid reason. For a while there today, I was wondering about myself!
I got one for ya Tinny! I have taken the tomato powder mixed mcCormicks Sloppy Joe mix in with it and then added it to the already hydrating hamber in the pot and had sloppy roll ups with Tortillas and it works great on top of corn chips as well!
tinny you might want to use a program called google sketchup to help with design.....theres others that are better but if you want to find them you can....
Hi Tinny,
Maybe you should make your own line of lightweight sporks?? You have a very practical mind.

you do see these things in day to day life and wonder why supposedly smart people missed an obvious improvement to a product.
