he missed one verse! or at least one i noticed - at 2.34 he says "muttaqi eena 'ala..." when he's supposed to say "fee hi maa minnw kulli faa ki ha tunnw zow jaan" - nobody said subhanallah!

he not missed ..he already corrected that part...u hear again and refer al-quran back...he say "muttaqi eena 'ala bathainuha only..not finish that verse..then immediately he change to correct one "fee hi maa minnw kulli faa ki ha tunnw zow jaan" and continue reading...so,he already aware of it..ok

Salaam kareemabdullah, it wouldn't be realistic to expect everyone to understand Arabic, but you're right, everyone should read the translation of the entire Quran at least once, because though recitation in Arabic strengthens your Imaan, you are still missing out unless you know what the Quran says.

He and many other reciters or hafiz' are lucky they had great parents who took them to lessons so they could become hafiz', the problem with most muslims is they learn the arabic but have no idea what they are saying, it's pathetic, you ain't gonna feel anything if you don't know what you are talking about
