  • hes a good lad

  • not many peoples today 9,93 with so easy, well ofcourse usian could do than start half second after starter pistol but neverthanless it is still great race by frank

  • @Xavier800416 he definately could have had the world record in this race.

  • Thats a very elegant stile to Run...

  • frankie's class is something we don't see enough of these days. after he wins, he immediately turns around and shakes everyone's hand. no celebration, just pure humility and sportsmanship. today's athletes can learn a lot from frankie.

  • Man, this dude ran this race like he was practicing.

  • Que humildad, simplemente admirable...

  • Frank was really good at BYU but Yemi was better, if Yemi did not smoke and drank like he did he would have had the world record at some time.... Don't get me wrong yuh all, Frank is a clasic guy like no other

  • Frankie Fredericks was the man. He always reminded me of Clyde Drexler when i was younger. Great temperament and great athlete, all around sportsman and good human being.

  • incrivel. na verdade um super cavalheiro. muito rapido e cordial. very fast and super gentleman.

  • Frankie Fredericks = class.Talented and gentlemanly.

  • Frankie was a brilliant runner. But he was much better at 200 metres, he still has the indoor record for the 200m as well.

  • agreed, wouldnt say MUCH better tho, 9.86 - 19.68?

  • No but he was better at 200m on a normal basis, linford christie was better at 100m.

  • Frankie is just about the greatest ever. Super form, great championship record, phenomenal acceleration, and an all-round class act. Never lost his temper, never dissed his opponents, gracious in victory and defeat. A super athlete and a super guy. Also: Shares a birthplace with Brad &Ange's kid.

  • he wudda done 9.78

  • I have never seen anybody so in control and so relaxed running through the rounds like Frankie does. This was his olympics inspite of him losing. He could have ran faster than 9.89 there.

Nice string of finals for Raymond Stewart. Unfortunately, that string had to come to an end at the Olympics and not a World Championships. Pretty sad to see it end here, but the competition was pretty tough and he was nearing the end of his career. Now if only Usain can be that consistent.
