As an old guy(56) I'm pretty excited about this super light weight gear that's coming out. For footgear I think good tennis shoes and gators would do it. Am I thinking strait ? I've been sea kayaking for twenty years, time to get my legs back. See you on the trail next year.
Ridiculous. As in, the most ridiculously good PCT slideshow I've seen! Fantastic pictures, great selection of shots. Doing the PCT this Spring, this gets me juiced.
@davidsquall351 That marmot was so cool! It froze on a rock right next to us for minutes. Then it just ambled off. Usually marmots scream and run away. Not this one!
@tecstrat Indeed it is! It's the Catalyst. Nice pack, though at least that generation had some durability problems. The other pack, carried from Northern California to Washington was a Golite Breeze.
