(Correct order) Main Components: CPU and CPU Cooler (Retail or Aftermarket), Memory, Motherboard, GPU, Power Supply. Peripherals: [HDDs, BR, DVD, CD] Writers/Burners, other 2.5 and 3.5 inch peripherals, optional internal peripherals and finally the Box itself (like the final touch on a present). Other than my pet peeves, the setup was pretty good for as old as this video is. Thumbs up anyway ^_^

@CertifiedNeto you just need to buy a video card...you're using onboard video, if I understand correctly. You don't need to replace anything else except maybe your power supply.

@CertifiedNeto It won't be a full chip, but will look like a porcessor, about 1 square inch on the motherboard itself. It will probably say something like "Intel" or "nVidia" on it. It might also be covered by a fan or a heatsink. DO NOT try to lift these off to see underneath them, as you will need to reapply thermal grease if you do. Go to your local computer store, ask an assistant for help but give them your computer specs (motherboard, operating system, etc.). They should find what you need

@foudubmx to be honest im not sure how manditory that is... ive been building computers for about 12 years now and on whatever surface i had available. anything from carpet to the bed to a chair or any table... the only thing i did was put the hardware of anti static bags or rested them on their heatsink if i didnt have a bag handy.

basically... never used a antistatic wristband for the past 12 years and have had 0 problems... maybe in more sensitive applications? not for home computers.

Lol for an affordable PC I don't understand why you would get the full tower over a mid? You probably could've gotten some better aftermarket cpu cooling with the spare cash. The size of the tower shouldn't really matter unless you're doing some extreme overclocking and need the space for watercooling or something. Most people looking for an affordable one probably don't want a huge case like that. Good video for beginners though.
