Mercedes Benz was 2nd. and i cant remember how the rest of the list went... but my point is. The american car brand, Chevrolet... outranked all of the german car brands based on lifetime (how long the cars last) so dont be too quick talking about american cars being crap, because german cars are just overrated. America makes just as good if not better cars.

The onyl reason American V8s sound like they do is because they weren't clever enough to get the firing order right, this sounds silky smooth and menacingly powerful, I love it. The Yank V8s sound primitive and course by comparison.

I don;t mind either, my old TR8 sounded "lush" as they say in the west country and that coarse and primitive sound matched the car perfectly...
